BEWARE! Do NOT take this medication at night! I started having horrible terrifying nightmares and would wake up screaming in the middle of the night. My husband finally read the package insert and there was one small sentence that basically said it could cause bad dreams.

every muscle in my body ached. I could not even touch them. It even affected my memory. I was on it for three years and when I stopped taking it my aches and pains and memory improved dramaticaly after three weeks. Since then I have not found a high cholesterol drug that I can take. They all have too many side effects.

When my doctor first prescribed statins, he started me on Provocohol, but it did not seem effective. I was switched to Lipitor with good results.

I started Lipitor a few years ago for high cholesterol. I've never experienced any side effects from the drug. But it did lower my cholesterol. I am able to eat anything I want as of now. I love my chocolate and eat tons of it every day. It's my "coffee" since I don't drink coffee. Overall, I'm very satisfied with Lipitor.
