I still feel a little shame when I take this drug (I'm not one to even take aspirin!) but on behalf of my family and how much better I function on it - I take it. 5mg is plenty and I wouldn't suggest any more. It is just enough energy for me to get started on my daily tasks and actually complete some! As a result I am less overwhelmed (and paralyzed!) and feel much more competent and confident ...
It was helpful in the beginning with school and sport productivity, but that only lasted a year. I founded a new talent, art, which I went to college for one year. I never was interested in art before. It made me very impulsive, and obsessive. I would find myself picking at my skin for almost the whole day. Also, it made me late to work in the later years because I took too long doing make up...

It does bring on headaches and only last 4 hour per dose. I had been on Adrell as well and its very expensive and caused me not to sleep for day at a time

this generic version does not metabolize well. Other Generic versions of Adderall were very different feeling. I even felt nausea and it seemed to work too quickly compared to other immediate release Adderalls. It was terrible. If it works well for others, then that's good. But after using getting used to other generic adderall IR, I'd have to say if you cannot afford the Long-Acting XR, then this sucks! unless you dont mind quartering it and taking it every 2 to 3 hours and then feeling nervous and then feeling an extreme crash. It was not conducive to concentrating to me. I would rather cope with ADHD, then try that one again. You might as well drink 2 redbulls twice a day and sleep and then be a nervous wreck when your awake.. that was terrible. Read More Read Less

I forget to take the dose at lunch occasionally, but when I do take it,I'm good to go for the rest of the day. No forgetfulness or loss of train of thought. I can multi-task & get things accomplished, whereas before I was drowsy and non productive. I was even falling asleep on the job, that required accurate data & deadlines. I no longer have problems with that and it actually pushes my brain to it's potential. Thus giving me a good nights sleep.

So far so good. I went off my medications when I was younger but my condition began to worsen to the point of depression because I couldn't stay focused on the simplest of tasks without being distracted with about 5 other thoughts. Feeling much better, no depression episodes as of yet, will be back to give another review.

Not as effective as Xdssoxyn at same dose. Had to increase strength from 5mg 3x daily to 7.5 mg 3x daily. This dosage seems to be working.

been on 30mg. for MS fatigue and it definitely makes me aware all day long. I want to re-visit the dosage with my MD as I think lower dose would still do the trick. Sometimes I think itinterferes with my ability to sleep which makes it a vicious circle.

7It (EDS) started mildly at first. Like falling asleep very early in the evenings or briefly nodding off in school. I didn't know I could be helped then. Within the last three years though it's been an uphill battle. Fighting sleep while driving, while at work or at home. The amphetamine salts have performed above my expectations.

I have the 'inattentive' kind of ADHD.(they no longer call it ADD). It has been well over a year that I am on this med., and I still find that I leave burning pots of water on the stove, get distracted so easily, chronically late and extremely annoyed by it all. I do know that I have to make a real concentrated effort on my part alone to keep my focus where it should be..Like I am suppose to be gardening instead of in this computer=addiction). OH, up side=I have lost weight without really trying=that's a god-send! I now only eat 2 meals a day and I feel fine. HAIR FALLNG OUT: Stress makes hair fall out. I checked with my hairdresser and she said I am losing a normal amount of hair(we shed too). I have no problem sleeping at all, I do have to watch my sugar in-take. It is the sugar that is an upper for me and it takes FOREVER FOR ME TO GET TO BED, once in bed I fall asleep immediately and I sleep great....it is just the getting to bed! No sweets starting early evening works for me! Read More Read Less
