I have MS,fibromyalgia, arthritis, depression and the lasting offects of septic arthritis it works very well, better then oxycoton which I was only on for two months and went through very bad withdraw for two days. I only take it when I'm going to be very active or at work. It makes it more confortable to work. I only take 2 or 3 5/500 mg tablets a day. Haven't had any trouble with addiction

I have back pain, and renal kidney failure. After dyalisis I feel really sick, tired, weak, and out of focus with the combination of back pain. I take 5mg/500mg vicodin every 6hrs with 100mg gabapentin it relieves the pain, and the sickness. The drug makes me feel better, and not in pain. The only compliant I have are the side effects and the risk of dependency. I take this drug because I need it ... Show Full Comment

I haave been on this medication since 1-10-2001 (norco 10/325) shattered calcanea (supporting bone in foot). It is easy to build up a tolerence but I stick to the Rx doseage and it helps to take the edge off. It helps to avoid taking for a day every once in a while. After all, if you keep taking higher doses or stronger meds, what will you do if you have trauma and really need something strong!
