Before taking cyp 193 I felt very fatigued and weak. Days after beginning it I felt full of energy and much more healthy. Though I do experience heartburn and reflux I am pregnant and that's just a part of pregnancy, plus I have GERD. I don't think I have had a single side effect.

Since beginning use of CYP193, I have been experiencing difficulty eating - acid reflux issues, in conjunction with the swelling of my tongue at the back of my throat, and trouble chewing and swallowing many foods. While eating, my tongue becomes very dry, especially near the back of my mouth, and my throat feels parched dry as well while it seems that an overproduction of mucous simultaneously occurs almost like a post nasal drip - impairing my ability to properly chew and swallow. It feels intermittently as if I'm gasping for air, trying to release the mucous (which is thin, stringy and clear onto a tissue), while trying to guide the food which feels like peanut butter when stuck to the roof of the mouth/or white bread when stuck to the roof of the mouth - so I have to press and roll my tongue across the roof of your mouth to help loosen and eventually swallow what's stuck. Sometimes my throat is so swollen, and my air is so limited that I have to spit the food out in order to breathe. I have never before had acid relux, and I have never before had any food allergies. I am having this reaction to almost everything I consume. Even cold ice water causes my mucous reaction and leaves me alternating between spitting, and sipping. At times sipping uncomfortably (as I've described above), but because it's not food, it doesn't stick to the roof of my mouth, so I am able to at least eventually consume the water. With food, however, if I am able to successfully eat on small thing without a reaction, I have to wait a significant period (usually a couple of hours) before even attempting to consume anthing else, in the event it might trigger "the reaction". If I make it through one food without a reaction I feel lucky, and am not ready to push my luck and try to consume more. Prior to beginning this medication, I never had acid reflux symptoms or what seems like food allergy symptoms. I've been taking the med daily for about a month and a half to two months.Read More Read Less
