I have Collagenous Colitis and this is the only medicine that has helped besides Prednisone (which I only took for one week). I've been on Budesonide off & on for 5 years. Each time I go off of it the symptoms return.

I've had Crohn's Disease for 42 years and had a bowel resection 20 years ago. I have have doing well since then. Now I change doctors and she immediated put me on 9 MG of Budesonide 6 months ago. I hate it. It's like Predisone, where where I've gained 15 lbs.I was feeling much better before taking these pills. Why can't doctors treat the systems and listening to the patient.

Works great to get rid of inflammation. Made me extremely tired all the time and after several months of using it the muscles in my back began spasming and locking into spasm.

Took 9 mg Budnisone for about 6 weeks. Helped in gut, somewhat, but didn't help at all with throat/mouth. Dr. took me off because I have no energy, just want to sleep all the time. Wondering if dosage was high, medium, low and whether increasing dosage would help. Anyone else have a similar experience?

I get my RX out of US which makes it affordable. Has anyone taken this med longer than 3 months? As soon as I go off symptoms come back, but help a lot while I'm taking it.

I was diagnosed with pancolitis. I was put on budesonide and asacol hd. They worked great for me. I had to get off of the budesonide because I could not afford it anymore. It cost me $239.00 a month. That's my insurance co-pay!! Without insurance or medeicare, it's out of the reach of most people. But bude sonid was really helpful while I was on it.

I am 62 year old woman and have been diagnosised with microscopic colitis for 6 years, with no real relief, and 15-85% advance of diease. This drug is the first true hope I have had of regaining a normal life. My doctor has directed me that following his instructions of food combining (alakaline/acid) and daily exercise of walking I should be cured in 3 months.

My mother has just been put on Pulmicort Respules 0.5 mg as an inhaled steroid for my emphasema. I have developed blisters on the inside of my lower lip. I use it with my nebulizer. Can you tell me what it is and what I can do to relives it. It doesn't burn or tingle, but it is sore and it is worsening with each nebulizer treatment.

I have used this med(s) off and on again over the last 4-5 yrs. I love the fact that this medication does not dissolve in your stomache but in you small intestines.

I have been experiencing over impressions in my eyes at night. When I wake my vision is only perephial , but when the lights are on my vision is normal. If I awake to use the restroom the central vision is gone( like and ink spill) each eye is affected in a different shape. Could this be from my budesinide use.I have been on it 18months and I am doing well with my crohns. I have had Crohns for 40 yrs, have had 7 resections, tried Remicade, metheltrexate, humira and now have a permanent colostomy.Read More Read Less

Helps relieve my extraordinary abdominal pain in a very short period of time and keeps my symptoms under control for up to six months. No side effects that I have noticed. Works very well.
