Taking for 15 months now for treatment of osteoarthritis. Significant improvement within days, ongoing. Physical Therapy for 12 weeks (muscle strengthening and water tx)I've continued swimming and aqua aerobics. Need two knee replacements, eventually. This has been a life saver for buying time and restored function.

I wonder if this is what is causing me to have very loose stools. I am on about 15 Meds altogether, and I do have Colitus, but am taking two different Meds for it. This Med. along with Lyrica is really helping my Fibromyalgia pain. I can just about handle my husband hugging me now. I just don't like the problem with the loose stools all day long- every day. It is beginning to make me weak.

I use this drug for pain in my back as well as an antiinflamatory for nerve damage I had quite a few years back. I am very happy with the results that I get from Etodolac.

Taking 2x daily...this med is not worth it with all the side effects. There are too many arthritis drugs out there and am really amazed I was started on this with my Dr. knowing I had bypass surgery and he also put me on Prednisone and Norco 7.5/325. What wsas he thinking? I got sick because I was not told to wait 30 minutes after taking this before laying down.I wasn't told anything til I came to Web MD and finding this out.I also take an aspirin and Plavix..now if ya read everything here I should be the one not on this med....Is this man trying to kill me or what?Sure sounds scary to me.Read More Read Less

I being a female had very bad cramps, the kind that keep you up all night, and couldn't go into work due to lack of sleep. Then my puppy died and I was having trouble trying to get my mind to calm so I could sleep and with out getting sick from grief. This is the only thing I have found that could accpmplish ridding me of the pain from cramps and calming my mind, not making me so tired I couldn't function, but calm my mind enought so I could fall asleep and not have nightmeres. I thank whoever came up with this medical merical and the doctor who prescribed it to me.Read More Read Less

I got into a car accident tearing my shoulder and I tried everything physical therapy, injections, surgery. I'm still in pretty bad pain but I think the Etodolac is a better solution than being on hydro codone all the time. This way I can function. I had stomache aches and blurred vision in the first weeks.

I'd had chronic Osteoarthritis for over 30 years and took indomethecin for mostly all of that time, and it kept getting worse. Finally went to a pain management doctor. I've been on etodolac X2/day for a week and notice a marked difference is the pain and burning feeling in my joints. It'll never 'go away', but no side effects as of yet. I hope it lasts.

This medicine makes my stomach hurt and I can't even eat and gives me little if any relief but I take it because it's all I have to take and my doctor gave it to me knowing I had liver and a heart problem. I don't like it but take it until I get something better!
