GEODON HAS BEEN A GOOD DRUG. HOWEVER , IT IS IMPORTANT TO MAKE SURE YOUR HEART IS TOLERATING THIS MEDICINE AS IT CAN BE EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. KEEP UP WITH YOUR DOCTORS TAKE AN E.K.G. IF POSSIBLE. I TOLERATE MUCH BETTER AFTER TAKING A LOWER DOSE. A GOOD DRUG. BE CAREFUL.

I have bipolar 1. This medication has helped smooth out my moods but have had some serious side effects. Mostly in the form of waking up in the morning and not being able to focus my eyes and feeling very drugged and having to be driven to work by family members. Caused a loss of appetite and I lost 25lbs in 2 months after gaining on other meds that was a great side effect. All in all the medicati ... Show Full Comment

wonderful. after three years and more suicidal thoughts and other i wish to ever think of for some reason i will not question why this particular drug has been a "miracle worker for me". this was the step before e.s.t. for me. i thank god. i'm more active and think much clearly. john in bama.
