Have a blood, bone and epidural abscess. treatment is 24 hour IV x 2 months. I opted for home health care versus hospital stay. The experience sucks but the medication is the best and only option versus surgery. It is not an easy medication to use in this manner but easy compared to its alternative.

I was put on the 6wks of continuous IV medication and the infection came back after 1 week.
