I've been taking this for over two years after my stroke,I was taken plavix first than switched to aggrenox. No side effects for me

I have been taking Aggrenox for three weeks. The first 7 days I had headaches after taking the morning capsule. Two days they were like migraine. After that, no headaches. I took Tylonol for the headaches.

My father had a TIA in 2004 and was prescribed aggrenox. He had migrain headaches and severe nausea for the first 3 weeks. He then developed bloody stools and severe stomache pain. Once taken off the drug the by the ER Resident the symptoms diminished. He's left with mild nausea and diverticulitis as a result of this. This drug was too strong and his doctor ignored his symptoms.

I HAD TWO MINI-STROKES WITH SEIZURES, DOC IS TRYING AGGRENOX. STILL HAVE TINGLING IN RT. ARM AND LEG. GOT HEADACHES WHEN STARTED BUT WENT AWAY. SEEMS TO BE WORKING SO FAR BUT ONLY BEEN ON IT 6 WKS. GOOD LUCK TO ALL!

I have been taking aggrenox for one and a half years since they discovered i had two TIA's and at first my arms were so heavy. I had a lot of headaches and overall didnt feel well but after about 2-3 weeks i was back to normal. I had to stop taking it for surgery for 1 week but was fine once i resumed it. i would strongly recommend sticking it out because the risk is higher than anything else.

altered mental status; occassional confusion

After a mild stroke, I have been taking aggrenox and lipitor. I have felt tired and without ambition or motivation. My sense of taste has changed making many foods distasteful.

Only been on it 2 weeks. As long as I take it with a full glass of water and sit up at least 30 minutes after taking, no headache or nausea. I hope this will work cause I have had 4 TIA in the last two weeks (and two strokes, one last year, one five years ago).

i have used aggrenox for 2 years since my stroke and i had no side effects and hopefully is working for me i have no choice but to take it, a stroke is a very serious problem

Have only been using for three weeks. Skin very dry and itchy, more so than usual. Still havit tia's, but not as frequent.Have pain in neck around Carotid area, but have been dopplered in my last hospital stay when the put me on Aggrenox. Having problem with swelling in hands and face, with some tingling sensation, enough to make me uncomfortable while trying to sleep. Do not exercise much, but do work on my feet all day, with condition of PAD, and bone spurs on little toe joints which are very painful.Read More Read Less

Have not had any new TIA's. Still get headaches when I miss a dose.

Development of headaches around the head; feeling of nausea, heartburn.

I have had no problem with this drug and hve been on it for over a year, twice a day.

no change in problem of daily mini strokes. been on aggrenox for 2 1/2 months

nausa, headaches, dizziness, interaction with blood pressure meds, diabetes meds, overall makes everything worse

The first time I tried this drug it made me deathly ill. I had headaches, vomitting, diahrea. Then stopped taking it. Dr. prescribed it 3-4 months later, I tried it one time and it gave me a severe migraine with nausea. Stopped taking it again.
