March of 2013 I was admitted to the hospital with the Flu & Pneumonia. I was given Tamiflu for the 3 days I was in there but it left a bad taste in my mouth so I quit taking it and since taking it I have little sense of smell and can not eat most fruits, strawberries, oranges, bananas.They now have a horrible taste to me. On Monday afternoon my throat was scratchy, by that night I was in the hospital for a fever of 102.7 and I am 5 weeks pregnant, I was taking Tylenol and it wasn't reducing my fever, the aches and chest congestion onset were almost immediate. Sick as a dog on Tuesday and fully recovered by Saturday, an amazingly effective drug, worth the price.

Save your money! I was diganosed with Influenza A and took this medication for the 5 days it provided zero relief!! I was still sick for an additional week and devloped a ear infection following my recovery for the flu. This medication did not relieve me of any symptoms and I still missed a week of work. Waste of time and money.

My 6 yr old son began having flu symptoms on a Saturday afternoon after having been exposed to the flu earlier in the week. He began taking Tamiflu Saturday evening. That Sunday he had a low grade fever most of the day and felt achy and rundown but was still active.
