I am 49 y/o and have suffered w/ this problem for 30 yrs. Aciphex is the ONLY drug that has worked for me. Very expensive. My insurance co. has just raised my deductible, but there isn't anything close to this product. I love it and have suggested to friends to talk to thier doctor about getting them on Aciphex also.

Terrible name. I'm glad to hear it works for many, but I wish they found a better name then one that sounds like special effects for your rear. "A** F/X". Not the best. Everyone that watches this commercial that I know has noticed this, especially if it's on in the background and they hear the name. Oh well, as long as it works it can be called anything.

After using OTC and all prescribed meds, also used baking soda with water, Aciphex has been worth the money. It has healed by Barrets Esophagus and helped me live a normal life. The drug mfg offers a $30 rebate, which I submit every 3 months.

I have used Zantac 150, Pepto Bismol, Pepcid AC, Tums and Alka-Seltzer. Sometimes in the same day. Yet the symptoms still return. Aciphex cures it for me. I just wish is wasnt so expensive.

Had tried OTC drugs which were no help at all..symptoms became worse. Have been taking for about 2 years with no side effects, no acid reflux or heartburn. The drug company offers a up to $30. rebate per month so is basically free.

I did not realize until my Medco moved me to Nexium, that the violent vomiting and stomach pain I would have if I overate was actually caused by Aciphex. It all disappeared after they changed me to Nexium.
