This stuff is super expensive so I suspect my doctor was getting perks from the drug company for prescribing it. He assured me it would kill any fungus but when I read the insert it had only a 26% complete success rate in clinical trials. Not surprisingly it didn't work on my athlete's foot. This stuff makes your feet really greasy after you apply it, more like an oil than a cream. I'm going to t...

I used the 1% Luzu cream for months and saw results. The minute I stopped using it the fungus came right back. I’ve started using it again and am waiting to see results after using it for 2 weeks. I would not recommend this cream.

I picked up athletes foot in the hospital. I tried many otc products with varying results. They would work for awhile, but then the athletes foot always returned. My dermatologist prescribed Luzu. I had met my out of pocket expenses for the year, so this rx didn't cost me anything. I was told it would work in 5-7 days. It did not. It took 2-4 weeks before I saw improvement. The Luzu did get rid of the athletes foot. However, it came back within a month. I will not refill it unless I've met my out of pocket this year. If I haven't, will go back to otc products. Luzu is a phenomenally overpriced anti-fungal cream. I was prescribed it by a new podiatrist who only said "with this coupon, you'll get it for free." She failed to mention that Blue Cross would get billed $1200 for a tube of fungus cream. Even though I hit my out of pocket max for this year, I will not refill my Luzu, cannot condone driving up the cost of health insurance for a drug that may, or may not work better than OTC remedies available for pennies on the dollar, compared with Luzu.

I seen a drastic difference within 48 hours of using this cream. Better than any other cream I have been prescribed. It is very expensive. Ask if there is a coupon, went from $600-$35

I have had athlete's foot for about 35 years and it covered the entire bottom of my left foot. I have tried every over the counter medication out there and it would stop itching for a short while after using for the recommended time and would only make my skin a little less flaky. My skin still felt rough and very thick. After using Luzu for about 9 months now, the ball of my foot and my instep feels normal except for a quarter size spot near the original site of infection. My heel is still rather thick but does not crack and flake everywhere like it did before. I still have a ways to go but am hoping that with a little more time, it will completely go away and I won't be embarrassed to wear sandals anymore.Read More Read Less
