Love the transdermal system. No more hot flashes, vaginal dryness, or sleepless nights. Had some break-through bleeding first few months (light period) but that was explained to me by physician before I started it. I've been on it about 1.5 years now and only side-effect is weight gain around my waist. I've researched other HRT and think this is the best. I'm on the lowest dose 0.05/0.14. Is ...

the patch falls off with swimming and showers with warm water, feeling cramps, other than that, I suppose less night sweats and hot flashes.

The patch worked almost instantly. Zero hot flashes!! More energy like my old self. However by the end of week one I'd put on 5pds easily. 2nd week break through bleeding for 1 full week. I'm on my 2nd month with the patch & hoping I can get this weight back off. I feel super bloated. ??

I starting using this patch a few months ago. Idk if it working or not. I still have night sweats so bad the closer to my cycle I get. I've had 3 periods each month of my cycle, my moods suck, and I'm exhausted. The patch stays on really good tho with no irritation. I use alcohol wipes before I put it on and it doesn't come off in my nightly soak in the tub. But I thought it was supposed to help with all these things? Doesn't seem to be working for me.

I was on this patch for a few months and initially felt like it was worthwhile-better sleep, decreased muscle and joint pain, no more hot flashes. I did experience slight weight gain and breast tenderness. However, I am now completely off the patch as I began reacting to them severely. I developed red, extremely itchy circles where the patches had been and I ended up with systemic contact dermatitis which required visits to an allergist and dermatologist . It required steroids and allergy medications to treat and it took weeks for things to subside. Therefore, I no longer can use the Combipatch. Read More Read Less

I started the Combipatch on 11/19. I immediately started having hot flashes (I have never had them before). I also put on seven pounds (after already having gained 26 pounds since January) in less than two weeks. No break-through bleeding. My hair is falling out more and I'm still crying on and off. When I'm not crying I feel rage. I've been bloated for a long time, but this feels worse. Usually it goes down and I wake up with a flat tummy and it puffs up shortly after. Now I wake up with it being huge from the start. I started the patch because of the weight gain. My doctor told me it might cause weight gain but put me on it for weight loss anyway. I don't get why. I wasn't having any hot flashes and I've been single for three years since my husband died...so no issue with any kind of vaginal dryness. I'm thinking I should just stop using it? I love everything about this patch. It has literally been a game changer -- no more joint pain, stiff shoulder, hot flashes .. xo feel so much better. Except after four months, the itchiness described below began. Has anyone addressed this with combipafch managers? I don't want to give this up but also don't want to be covered in healing patch welts either.

My hot flashes were driving me crazy! They are now gone and I feel great, no mood swings no more vaginal dryness but I am gaining weight! I exercise regularly and eat healthy but the scale is going up and I feel heavier like bloated. Uggg Not sure if I will continue using it.

Life-changer. I cannot say how well this works for me. Literally no more perimenopausal symptoms (or, as WebMD archaically refers to them "change of life" symptoms). I had some spotting for the first ten days ago, and the first two or three days were not great in terms of mood, but after that it was amazing. No more hot flashes, no more anxiety, no more anything. I love this.

Combipatch resolved night sweats, hot flashes, migraines, irritability and restored my life to normal. Wish I had known about it when I first had an ovary removed in my 30's and became perimenopausal.

Been on this patch since 2020 w/ no issues (belly placement) but within the last 8-10 weeks of use the skin under the patch gets red and bumpy w/in a day or so and very itchy. When the patch is removed the red mark stays on my skin for weeks. I can literally count 8 different circles of varying degrees of irritation on my stomach right now. This has never happened before--used to be once I removed the patch and washed off the circle of adhesive you couldn't even tell where the patch had been. Not sure if they changed the formula or the adhesive or what but I may have to discontinue use, which would be a shame. First I will try putting it on my buttocks as another reviewer says she did. I went through menopause( early) 20 years ago. Had terrible hot flashes. Was on bio identical hormones until 2 years ago. Doctor said estrogen level too high. she switched me to Combipatch. Ok for 2 years, but now causes rash immediately upon application. Terrible adhesive? Red , itchy irritated skin for 2 days after removal. It’s unbearable. Please change adhesive!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm almost 54 and started experiencing weight gain (20#), fatigue and brain fog. I still had regular periods like clockwork. Since starting the Noven combipatch just a few weeks ago I have less night sweats and I do think I feel better overall. I didn't have a period like usual, so I'm wondering if this is normal?? I see that many women experience unusual bleeding and I am experiencing absolutely NONE. It seems like my hair and skin is oilier than usual, so this could certainly be a side affect as well. I have loved this patch!! Was doing the implant, and I could not get regulated on that, so this patch has been a lifesaver - HOWEVER - the itching is awful! I always end up scratching my skin to the point of irritation... please address the adhesive! Thank you a forever client!

Love this patch! It helped me tremendously! No more hot flashes, mood swings, or insomnia. The problem is that it’s soooo itchy on my skin. I put it on my butt because my belly was extra sensitive from the adhesive. My butt also get a red spot and itchy wherever I put the patch, but I can’t take life without it. If only it didn’t itch my skin. Please, please, please change the adhesive!!!!!

I have used the combipatch for 2 years. It has relieved all of my menopausal symptoms. I suffered from 15-20 severe hot flashes a day and could barely work or sleep at night. I was miserable. My GYN first recommended a low dose paxil which did not help, then the combipatch. I was a little hesitant about using a hormone but because I was so desperate I decided to try it for a while. Well after 2 years and no hot flashes I love it! I will try to wean off at some point but I want to make sure all the menopausal symptoms are gone. The combipatch gave me back my life!Read More Read Less

I’ve had some minor spotting, between weeks 3 & 5. Comes and goes. Not enough to use a liner.

3 years post menopause. I got complete relief from severe and frequent hot flashes within 2 weeks of beginning the combipatch. It’s a miracle. I am wish I had started it sooner.

The problem with the patches is that they are causing me a huge skin allergy in my abdomen.. I just don’t know how to manage it.

I was on combipatch for a couple of years. No hot flashes , no night sweats. It changed my life until recently. The patch was very itchy, my skin was very bright red where I applied it. The spot would remain there for days after I took patch off. I couldn’t take it anymore and stopped using it. Wish they would go back to the ok’d adhesives because night sweats are coming back. Just read where someone else said they change the adhesive this explain it.

So I read comments on how it comes off easily after putting it on, especially if you sweat, showers or pool. I found a hack in case anyone wanted to try. I place a sterile transparent film over the patch so it never moves or lifts and have save me many patches. Otherwise this is a life saver for hot flashes. I was having them every 15 minutes prior to the patch. However the manufacturer in my area is out of stock so upped the dose and will see how I do.
