After Lo Estrin was discontinued I was forced to go on Minastrin. Everything seemed the same, except that it gave me horrible acne. I don't mean a spot here or there, I mean giant cysts that would continuously reappear in the same spots! Minastrin almost scarred my face. I just wanted to give a quick review of this pill, since so many other users had negative side effects, to let readers know not everyone will have them. I have not had any negative issues, though perhaps feeling a little "flat" emotionally, but: my sex drive is thriving, my skin is normal (not improved, but not worsened), I don't get cramps (never did before either) and my weight ... I'm not pregnant, so this is an effective drug. My dr. told me it was optional to chew this drug, so it's easy to use. I gave those both 5 star ratings. My satisfaction with this drug is not even on the chart, but I had to give it 1 star. I started Minastrin in Nov 2013 after my Loestrin was discontinued. I just started the pack just left another bcontrol. It was a chewable i didnt like but I was cool. no waight gain.I felt a little light headed when first started. My brest dont hurt as much as they did but im just starting so I will update you.

I am taking this drug for birth control and to regulate my periods. I do NOT like this pill at all. Like others, I have had the worst mood swings I have ever experienced...I never used to have mood swings and now I will go from super happy to pissed off beyond belief within minutes for absolutely no reason at all.
