Before I started using this I read these reviews and became horrified this was going to be the worst thing to happen to me, but I've been extremely fine with it no bad side effects at all

I've been taking birth control for 12 years and in the past 3 years been on Tri-Estarylla. CVS changed it and I assumed it would be the same has the one I had before. I was wrong. I didn't have any physical problems like most ladies and it did do its job..no pregnancies. I just started feeling off. I become more anxious, and depressed before my period. I thought this was normal. Until, my new doct...

I was on Tri-Sprintec but changed pharmacies and was given this birth control and I hate it. I have only been on it from maybe a month and a half and I have been having mood swings and depression that I at first thought was just something I was going through but now realize it is this birth control. I do not want to use this ever again. If you can stay away from this birth control.

I have been off of birth control for 7 years and decided to go back on due the increase of menstrual cramps and heavy bleeding. I really enjoyed the good effect it had on my symptoms and have no serious complaints. I did notice a bitter taste in my mouth and slight nausea but since i take my pill before bed it doesnt really affect me much. the bitter taste doesnt seem to be in any of the reviews ive read so i am wondering if it is indeed from the pill or another issue all together.

I was on Tri Sprintec and/or Tri Nessa for a few years (changed pharmacies a couple times) and just recently got new insurance which made me have to get my scripts filled somewhere else... who gave me Tri Estarylla. The first day was horrible.. I was extremely nauseous and dizzy and overall felt miserable. I gave it a few more days but it never got better. I've only ever had an issue with one birth control so I didn't think this switch would matter at all.. but it was horrible and I called my doctor within the first week to write me a new prescription so I could go back to my old pharmacy and pay out of pocket for Tri Nessa just so I wasn't miserable anymore. Stay awAy from this pill!Read More Read Less

It causes headaches and severe aches in my hips. I've been on it for a year and a half now and over Christmas I forgot to bring it with me. I just had to start a new month yesterday and my headaches are worse than ever!!no not recommend! Also it causes depression in me. On the bright side my period isn't nearly as heavy or long but my cramps are worse.

I was on tri-sprintec for almost 2 years and then got switched to this one by the pharmacy. I'm only on the first month of it and it has been awful. My boobs started hurting a couple weeks ago, I gained weight, I got random headaches, I actually thought I was pregnant. AND THEN my P came a whole week early, when it used to come every Wednesday of the 4th week on the other pill. I hate tri-estarylla

I'm glad I didn't read these reviews before I started this pill! I have been on it for almost a year and have had no issues thus far. No spotting at all. Maybe a little bit of nausea and dizziness (maybe 2 days out of the month) but not all the time! No weight gain. I have been on a few pills and this one is by far the best one. Free with my Aetna insurance.

I have been on this birth control for three years to avoid developing ovarian cysts and it has worked perfectly for me. I haven't had a cyst in three years and I have short regular periods with little to no side effects. Would definitely recommend!

Switched to this from ortho tri cyclen for some reason. A couple weeks later I developed a cyst on my breast which I ended up getting removed. I have increased anxiety and depression, low self esteem, irritability, and the mood swings are crazy. I've also been getting deep, cystic acne, usually a week before my period comes. I don't feel like myself anymore. I've been on it for about 7 months now, and none of these conditions have gotten any better. I thought I was going crazy, until I made the connection and realized the pill was causing it. I do not recommend it.Read More Read Less

After starting to take the pill it took care of my acne and reduced cramps. It lengthened my period from 3 days to 8 days, in which my period was switching between heavy and spotting. After around five and a half to 6 months on this pill I got my "period" two weeks early. It wasn't like my normal period, the blood wasn't blood at all it looked the same but was brown and smelt horrible. This period lasted a month. It stopped for 2 weeks and then began again. After calling the doctor she instructed me to wait it out see if it stops but I decided to stop taking it. After allowing the appropriate amount of time for it to all get out of my system the "periods" immediately stopped. Since then I have had no problems with my period. I do not recommend this birth control to anybody. I know side effects are different for everybody but I do not think anybody should take the risk of this happening to them.Read More Read Less

I switched to this medication after having taken Loryna for over a year. Loryna gave me awful mood swings/depression so I stopped taking it and switched to this. I've taken it for one cycle and so far I'm pretty pleased. I did have a breakout during the first week or two, but since then my acne has been clearing up nicely and my skin looks good. I had PMDD and anxiety to begin with, but I haven't noticed any increase in problems since taking this, and my period was cramp free. Overall I'd recommend this, especially if you've had issues with Loryna in the past.Read More Read Less

Was really scared to take this after reading the reviews. However I have not experienced any of the negative side effects and my acne has cleared up! I've been using this pill for about a month and I will continue to use it.

I do not recommend this birth control. I went on it to regulate my cycle, and honestly it wasn't worth it. It often made me feel dizzy and nauseous, and I frequently had mood swings. The side effects definitely outweigh any positive affect this drug has.

I'm 17 years old and taking this for heavy period flow. First of all cvs gave me the wrong perscription! I usually use sprintec which I love but they gave me tri-estarylla which we later found out was a pharmaceutical error! The very first day i took this, i began vomiting. I thought it was because it was a new medication and i decided to continue use. EVERY DAY for 2 weeks i would have to leave class to vomit in the school's bathroom! EVERY DAY! I also realized that I was becoming depressed so I made the decision to stop taking it! Worst mistake ever! CVS really screwed up. Stopping this medication was the best idea I've ever had. I do not recommend this medication to anyone. Read More Read Less

Long story short I got switched by my pharmacy , ever since then I've had my period for about 3 week, severe acne, and now I have hives all over my body. Finishing out this month and going back to my old pill. Worse pill ever. Try Tri-Previfem, give's you absolutely no problems.

My doctor switched me to this medication from ortho tri cyclen lo. I've been on this pill for a week now and have already been suffering from acne, extreme stomach cramps, allergy attacks, and dizziness. I personally wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

This was my first time taking birth control, and it was a HORRIBLE experience. Was on it for a week and was going through severe mood swings, I wasn't even myself anymore. DO NOT TAKE THIS. So far from worth it

Absolutely horrible. I had to switch to this medicine because my insurance didn't cover Ortho tri cyclen lo anymore. It has made me extremely moody, my face hasn't cleared up and I've been on this medicine for months. I've gained a significant amount of weight and it has made my face swell up like a balloon.
