I was told by my Dr that I had a lot of wax in my ears that needed to be cleaned. Before cleaning my ears, he told me to use this product to loosen up the wax. Now, I will tell you that, yes, my one ear became very clogged and I had headaches and sinus issues from it. However, as I continued to use the product as directed this clogging got a less. When my Dr cleaned my ears, it was done in two...

What quack medicine. It made me go deaf when I went in I could hear, all I wanted was a little ear wax removed and three Dr.s used cold water with a couple drops of hydrogen peroxide, with a horse syringe, then one dr. jammed a wooden Q-Tip so deep into my ear that it broke and caused ly left ear to bleed badly; then they had me come back the next day, and he "borrowed a dental tool for scraping tee...

Took 2 whole weeks to get relief, including 3 visits to get my ear irrigated, and I also used hydrogen peroxide twice a day, along with the Debrox twice a day. But finally today, on my third irrigation, everything clogged in my ear came out! And now everything around me is so much louder than I remember. My point in saying all this is that these drops do work, even though they really seemed to make my hearing so much worse than it was before I used them. But I was so frustrated at the blockage in my ear I kept using them (plus peroxide) and it finally softened up enough to come out and I am so incredibly happy now! That was a difficult 2 weeks of being uncomfortable in social situations. Now my life can get back to normal and I can converse comfortably. So if you are just starting the drops and thinking they won’t work (I read all the bad reviews too and kept at it) keep it up and it might take a solid 2 weeks, or even more, but with help from a doctor you too will get relief! No it is not the best instructions so what I did was leave the drops in for however long I had to keep my head tilted before I needed to start my day, sometimes just 10 minutes, sometimes more, then I drained them out but didn’t rinse my ear, so they could still soak in. Especially before bed, and I tried to sleep with my ear facing up so it could get good and coated all night. Once I started using peroxide it seems like more improvement, a few things came out when I would flush my ear out. But thank goodness today the mega load found its way out after a professional irrigation. I read the good reviews, people’s ears cleared up in 3 or 4 days?!? I felt like like mine would never get better! So stay hopeful and don’t stop, if your doctor has told you to use the drops. In 2 weeks you will hopefully be hearing again!!! Read More Read Less

I read the reviews after my doctor told me to use this. Some reviews were really bad but I used it anyway. Well, here is another bad review. I used it for a week. Thought it was helping. By the second week I lost hearing. I had to wait 3 weeks to get into an ENT. I felt my head was in a fishbowl my hearing got SO bad. There was wax stuck on my eardrum. He had to clean it out and put drops in my ear and by then, my eardrum was inflamed. Just like so many others have said - DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME ON DEBROX! Go straight to an ENT and have them microsuction your ear out. Ugh. After a week, it's still not 100% yet. Terrible stuff. August 2023.Read More Read Less

I'm surprised to see all the negative reviews here. While I don't want to minimize anyone's negative experience, I personally found that for removing impacted ear wax that was blocking my hearing almost completely, while it did take about 4 days to finish working, the effect was nothing short of miraculous for me. When I did that final strong flush and everything came out and my hearing was back to 100%, it was amazing. Word of warning, your hearing may get MORE blocked up during the 4 day period of all the wax getting softer and softer until finally you can flush it all out.Read More Read Less

Believe me when I say this stuff really works!! if you have stubborn compacted wax in your ears like mine!! I put 10 drops in for 5-10 min 2x a day for 5 days. I then on the fourth day irrigated my ear with comfortably hot water and poof the junk came out my ear first try. I will treat n irrigate 1x a day until no more wax washes from my ear! I am thankful it works cause the doctor tried to irrigate my ear an nothing came out. Such a waste of time at the doctors!!

Went to my doctor for an unrelated issue and during the appointment he said that I had wax build up in my left ear. He prescribed the debrox and gave me instructions on how to use it. Said I could just put in a few drop and let it sit overnight with a cotton ball in my ear and then flush it in the morning. Horrible instructions. I couldn’t even get 3 drops in my ear before I experienced the worst pain in my life. The pain was constant for 2 hours. And now many more hours later I am still in horrible pain. I’m due to see my doctor tomorrow for a follow up and he’ll be getting a mouth full from me. Don’t use this crap and go see an ENT to get the wax pulled out. Read More Read Less

DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT. Have an ENT removed your ear wax. As most of the other reviews said, using this product created a blockage. I could hardly hear out of my ear after and had to go to urgent care to have the wax removed.

Debrox is quite effective for my earwax buildup. I’ve used for several years off and on. Usually requires several applications to clear out the wax. Eventually it liquifies the wax so it drains out. It’s been over a year since I last saw it in stock. Don’t understand why it’s so scarce right now (2023).

I NEVER leave any of these things but I HAVE to say something in hopes of someone reading this. I’ve had probs with my ears my whole life, I see an ent and have had 3 tubes surgeries since I was a kid , I haven’t been able to get in to my ent so I went to my primary care physician bc my ear has been itching and a little achy.. she wasn’t able to see my eardrum or anything due to the compact of the wax in my ear and she referred me to this medicine over the counter…. My wife put 6 drops in, one minute I was okay, then boom ABSOLUTELY WORST pain I’ve ever experienced in my life, PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT RISK IT, be patient and go to the DR to have them handle it !!! It has been a couple hrs now and I am still in so much pain, my heads hurting, even my throat, it’s completely clogged, red, and I damn near can’t hear. I was screaming and crying in pain for a good 30 minutes- DO NOT !!!! I’d rather have my ear be completely gone! TRULYRead More Read Less

My ear was muffled off and on for over a week. I was recommended this product by a pharmacist. After putting in 8 drops in my right ear my ear felt more clogged. Its incredibly uncomfortable. My ear is now completely clogged. I am headed to the emergency room.

I used this product at the recommendation of my doctor. I would NOT ever recommend this. After using in 1 ear, I had EXTREME pain in my ear, followed by dizziness and my tongue swelled. Next morning, pain is subsided but I can not hear, I have a headache and I am still dizzy. I would recommend avoiding this product. The pain I experienced is like no other. I have given birth to 2 children and that was nothing compared to the pain after using Debrox.

It doesn't even contain the ingredients it claims. It's some bs Ali express type Chinese product, containing random unrelated compounds, that are extremely harmful upon any kind of bodily contact. It has absolutely no effect on breaking down earwax, and it's extremely dangerous.

Why does it smell so bad? The noise and tingling it makes going in is pretty awful. And the crackling is SO LOUD. I didn't like the pressure I felt after putting in the drops either. It left my ear feeling full and completely blocked. I slept with that ear facing down, it drained some of the liquid and I could hear slightly better in the morning but now my ear feels itchy, sore, just generally irritated and inflamed (like a childhood ear infection). It's been 2 days and I don't feel like it was worth it yet. Maybe in another 2 I will? I can't understand how people can use this more than once in a day in order to get results, it's so uncomfortable. I'm going to see a doctor. This product is one of the many reasons we need health careRead More Read Less

The website claims that Debrox uses foaming action to soften the wax, yet phone reps state it doesn’t always foam. It never foams and just clogs up the ear. A useless and potentially damaging product. Go to the ear doctor and have the wax removed properly.

My ear was full of wax and I couldn’t get an appointment with my ENT so I bought this product. My husband put the drops in my ear and I could hear the bubbling and I thought ok. Oh was I wrong because all of a sudden I experienced intense pain. I wanted this stuff out of my ear. I ended up going to the ER. My experience was terrible and I will never use any over the counter products in my ear.

I read the reviews, mostly negative and I tried Debrox. My experience is positive. I had ear ringing out the roof and thought I was going crazy. My ears were ringing and a person could actually hear the noise of my ears. After doing just one treatment ... I had great results. I follow the instructions and realized the stuff really works. Not immediately, but very quickly. The ringing has stopped and I am praying it will remain so. Ringing ears are truly horrific. I saw a doctor and he put me on antibiotics. The combination of Debrox and Antibiotics seems to have worked. No ringing and finally peace after a couple of weeks of suffering. I hope this helps those that need hope. Read More Read Less

My ear clogged immediately after using this product, I put 10 drops in my right ear and it was a very unpleasant feeling. Thank God I didn't put it in my left ear. I will be making a doctors appointment to let them clean my ears instead.
