I used this and the day after I got an ear infection and have been getting ear infections every couple months now DO NOT USE OR BUY

Wish I would have read reviews before using this product. Was told by my son's Audiologist to use an earwax removal. Went to the store and got this. He cried ever time saying it hurt. He hates anything going in his ears so I just figured he was being dramatic.

DON'T USE THIS PRODUCT, PLEASE! I've got a severe pain after using this products for two days. My right ear and right side of my face are swolled. I could not sleep last night. I can't eat! I am going to go to an urgent care as soon as they open their clinic.

I used this debrox today and almost immediately afterwards I experienced sharp pain as if I am being stabbed in my ear down to my jaw. I am very nervous and thinking I might end up hospitalized. Please stay away from this, it's not worth the pain.

I bought this product to help with a wax buildup in my ear. Soon after using this product, I began to suffer from sever ear pain and I am afraid that now I may have an infection. Stay away from this terrible product!

My dr prescribed this. After 3 days of use I’m in really severe pain. My right ear feels like someone is stabbing me w an ice pic. I’m pretty worried. I’m hoping my eardrum is not punctured.

Using for over 10 years, never an issue, both of my doctors made the recommendation and one is listed as one of America’s top 50 general practice physicians.

OK, it turned the earwax into liquid. I have been cleaning liquid from my ear for hours after only one use. BUT now I have pain in that ear and suspect I have an ear infection. My jaw and face are warm also and in pain. I should have read the reviews before buying this product. Beware!

Worked great! I tried Smart Swab and it totally blocked my left ear,then I purchased Debrox Otic and it worked on the first treatment the blockage was gone. a big thanks to the makers Debrox Otic

If your doctor recommends using Debrox, run out of his office. I cannot hear now and the ringing is louder than ever. The worst product on the market, with no warning about this side effect. My head feels like it's underwater and I can't hear. I called my doctor, who never told me this might happen, and he says it is normal and just use it in one ear. Are you kidding!!!!!

Do not use this product if you have migraines with any kind of ear involvement. I tried using these drops twice in one day on my left ear. Neither time was effective at removing the wax, and the second dose caused burning in the ear canal. The night after I used it, I woke up in the middle of the night with severe pain on the left side of my face and pain in my left ear. It felt like someone was sticking a poker in my face. I finally got in to my ENT two days later. My sinuses are completely inflamed and she thinks I'm having a migraine. I would never, ever use this product again.Read More Read Less

Works great for blocked ears if it is wax. If I do not see wax I know it's fluid and buy swimmers ear to dry it out. Tired of going to ENT's when there is great products like this to help me hear well and unclog my ears.

Worked like a champ! Classic clogged ear due to wax buildup. Used DeBrox for 2 days. First day, 4 drops in ear. Second, 10 drops in ear and lied down on my side for 15 minutes. I could heard the product working with the crackling sound right away. Afterwards, I used a medication syringe with warm water. After about 2 glasses of water I start seeing results and could hear again. Thanks DeBrox, you saved me a visit to the doctor! :)

Ona Sunday morning I cleaned my ears with a Qtip and tight after that I was not able to hear out of my left ear. Monday morning I went to cvs to buy this product. I did it twice that day but I was still not able to hear. Thinking it was not working I went to the dr on Tuesday morning. The Dr. told me it was working but I had to continue using it up to 4 days. Since I had used it the wax had soften and she was able to remove it. I did get dizzy when she was skirting the water in my ear. I now know in the future it does work but I might need to do it more than a day.Read More Read Less

Had a problem with wax build up in my ear. I could hear in the ear until I use this product. I only used 5 drops, but instantly my ear clogged and it has been almost 24 hours. I had read on another site that you have to continue use for it to be effective, so dummy tried another 5 drops this morning. Again, ear clogged when I was able to hear a bot out of it. I irrigated with warm water and it just is not working. I, like another reader, wish I had read these reviews before I used the product. Works very well in a couple of hours. Make sure to get the kit with the bulb for flushing with warm water.

If there has ever been a product less useful for its stated purpose, I am unaware of it.

I was suffering from excessive ear wax for more than a few months. I purchased DEBROX thinking it would fix my problem. I was wrong. I used it for 4 days. I used the drops and flushed my ears out with the syringe as the label instructs. During the treatment I began to have trouble hearing and severe pain in my left ear. I went to the doctor and found out I had given myself and ear infection. My ear canal was so inflamed that he couldn't tell if there was still any wax in there or not. He prescribed for me ear drops to help clear the infection. 4 days later the pain had gone away but my hearing was still bad in that ear. I went to another doctor and was told that my eardrum had ruptured due to the infection. This doctor prescribed me oral antibiotics. The good news was she said there was no longer any ear wax in my ear canal though. She only saw nasty pus. Debrox is not telling the truth when they say that it is safe and gentle. I had wax in my ear and used this product for one day (2x) and have had dizziness, tightening of my chest and my ear after 2 weeks is still blocked with headaches. It's a horrible product. I went to an ENT and had the wax removed professionally but I still after weeks have not been feeling great after one treatment. It should be off the market!!!!

I only used one treatment. There is no warning on directions that ear clogs up from the drops. I just used and am so very uncomfortable and cannot unclog my ear from the drops. I will never use again. I am having trouble hearing from the drops. I DO NOT recommend
