My son is 7 and he never had hyperactivity. Now he has hyperactivity. We are working on dosing at this time but it has been frustrating. I am lowering the dose and then working my way back up.

My son was recently diagnosed and we first tried Ritalin. He needed an extended release due to so many ups and downs from a two-dose a day drug. He's doing well on Q-XR so far, but am having to go up on dosage. He's 4 years old, will be 5 in August. Started on 2 MLs. Now he is at 3 MLs.
