I was started on the lowest dose of the Minivelle patch, 0.0375mg for treatment of hot flashes and difficulty sleeping. I started to feel benefits fairly quickly, within a week, and as time has gone on I've been feeling more benefits of using the estrogen patch. My mood is better, big plus! After three months on the patch I feel my depression is lifting and I am doing more in general instead of si...

Dr had me on Vivelle Dot and switched me to this. I HATE it. I have hot flashes and night sweats every night. Haven't slept in weeks. Gained 10 pounds while nothing in my diet or exercise program has changed. Headaches. I'm heading into see her today to demand something else.

As a Registered Nurse I tried to give this product a chance. I have been on Vivelle-Dot 0.05mg for 13 yrs. Now I have tried Minivelle 0.05mgfor 2 months. The backing is a little more difficult to remove. It has adequate adhesive, but the dosage of medication is without a doubt lower than the Vivelle-Dot. I have had constant hot flashes and sweating at various times of the day and night. I am not impressed or happy with this product.(maybe there is a problem with absorption of the hormone from the Minivelle). I have discontinued it and started back on the Vivelle-Dot and symptoms are gone. Read More Read Less

I have been on Vivelle Dot 0.075 for four years and i like it. It works great for me but my doctor put me on Minivelle 0.1 I DID NOT LIKE ANYTHING ABOUT IT !!!!! I had verry bad hot flashes and it made me feel sick all the time. I had a lot of side effects from Minivelle. I dont care that the price is cheaper then Vivelle Dot It is all about how it makes you feel. Went back to Vivelle Dot and my hot flashes are gone and i dont feel sick anymore !!!!!

Had been using bhrt cream but did not seem to absorb and still had menopause symptoms. My little minivelle 0.075 mg patch has been great. Symptom free and patch stays on great with no irritation.

I just left the previous post---but oops, it was sent by mistake. I had been reviewing something else as well and part of the post is not in regard to minivelle. I sent this by mistake. I've asked the site to take down my previous post, but they have not.

I agree with the previous post. I hate the "words and lettering" on the minivelle and the backing is less well designed than the vivelle dot. Also, the adhesive is stickier than the dot. MOst importantly, with the same purported dosage, I developed hot flashes when switching from vivelledot to minivelle and have other adverse symptoms. I felt so much better on the vivelle dot. I know the manufacturer is really doing some heavy duty PR to launch their new minivelle product and it seems there is a real "cover up" in information about possible differences (especially negative ones) between vivelledot and minivelle. I'd really like to know the science of why there could be such a difference in effects when the company claims the two patchs are essentially "bioequivalent." What I love about the new minivelle is the price is so good---to get people sucked into switching from the dot--and therefore using us all for clinical trials of their very new product.Read More Read Less

I just put on the minivelle for the very first time. I've used the vivelle dot previously, with satisfaction. I am initially disappointed with minivelle--it seems to have writing all over it rather than a just plain circle patch. I don't want words on me. I liked the Vivelle because it was just plain, although I do like the shape of the minivelle, just not that darn words. Help! Take the words off. Also it was a little hard to remove the backing pieces. I've never reviewed anything before. I was moved to do this because of the disappointment about the words. I had high hopes for this minivelle. Dang!!!Read More Read Less
