I have been taking this pill for 2 months and I have been satisfied. I am not pregnant, and my acne has cleared up beautifully. I do still get painful menstrual camps, and my period is heavy for the first 3 days but then is extremely light. It is also more regular than before. I recommend this pill! Also in the beginning I was worried because my acne got worse, but after the first month It has ...

While I have not gotten pregnant since using this medication, I have noticed a lot of unwanted side effects. The main one is that if I miss a pill, even ONE (whether I take it ASAP the next morning or not), I start spotting. Sometimes it's a regular period or close to it, other times it's light spotting for a week +. This still happens even when I HAVEN'T missed a dose... I feel like I either have...

The first month on this pill, I experienced a heavy and extremely long menstrual cycle. The second month on this pill---no menstrual cycle as of yet and it's almost time for me to start a new pack. I took a pregnancy test because it is unusual to be this late. It was negative. So, I am clueless to what is going on now with this drug.

Switched to this after Loestrin 24(which I loved) was not available. I usually don't have any side effects from medications but boy I did with this! Within the first month of taking this I was pretty nauseous, felt emotional, and just wasn't myself. The second month was a little better, but not much improvement. Didn't notice any spotting, and my period came when it was supposed to and lasted about 4 days but I have been experiencing on and off cramping during the second-third week in the pack. All in all I was not very satisfied but hey sometimes these don't work for everyone, will be switching to a different pill.Read More Read Less

I switched to this after Tri-Sprintec became unavailable to my pharmacy. Within the first two weeks I was having spotting, major mood swings and some depression which I have never had on any other pill. Into the second month nothing got better, started breaking out as well, I finally had to stop because of how unlike myself I felt.

I have never had a problem with the 3 other oral contraceptives I've taken in the past 15 years. When I was switched to this generic from Tri-Sprintec I experienced spotting almost daily for the first month. My first period was longer and heavier. Cramps and discomfort were normal. But my moodswings/emotions have severely increased. It's like PMS doubled, and for the whole month. On my second month and things have improved marginally. I plan to change at the end of this month.

I was put on this to see if it would help my migraines caused by BCP. Not only did it make them worse, but I had severe jaw pain, couldn't sleep and would become so dizzy with vision changes I would almost faint. DO NOT TAKE THIS!

Terrible... This medication was substituted for another generic version by my pharmacy, a generic of a generic I guess you could say. Since taking it, I have had breakthrough bleeding each month at least a week in advance, extremely heavy flow, and post menstrual discharge up to a week after. I have switched back to Orth-Tri-Lo in hopes of correcting this mess.

My 17 year old daughter was given this medication as a substitute for another generic BCP that the pharmacy was out of. She was using the pill for acne control. Had terrible side effects after 2 weeks such as joint pain on her left side, acne got worse, and said she felt weird while using it. This is a generic of a generic and I am disappointed that these types of drugs are being approved by the FDA as the same as other generics....not true! I would not advise taking this medicine.
