I have tried every prescription med for sleep that is out there...(1) they don't work & (2) they all gave me the next day "hangover fog". I can say that Z-Quil put me to sleep quicker than any Rx pill I have ever tried and it does not give me the next fog...I am however concerned about long term use & plan to consult with my MD about this (is it any more dangerous than a Rx pill?)...I have been u...

I took this before I went to bed at 10:30, and was awake until 2:00 a.m. with being wired up and having restless leg syndrome (which I've never had before). Today, I feel groggy and out of it, which should have happened last night! This was a waste of money, and I'm glad I only got the small pack.

I use the liquid. I take it so that when I get up 2-3 times a night to use the restroom, I can fall back asleep quickly. Otherwise, my mind wakes up and I can't fall back asleep. It works great for that...the only downside is that it gives me crazy bazaar dreams! where as the tylenol pm type pills do not.

I wanted to sleep straight through the night, without waking up at midnight then again at 2 or 3 AM. I took one dose of the liquid zzzQuil. I was knocked out for 6 hours then, woke up looked at the clock and got two more good hours or rest. I've done this twice over a period of three weeks. Though it is not addictive, the great rest that I get makes me want to use it more often. Barring any other medical conditions, this is a great product for occasional use.

It took forever to kick in and I didn't even get a good nights sleep. I kept waking up. I got four hours of sleep and had plenty of time to get more if it had let me.

It works but for me it takes 1.5-2 hours before I feel its effects so I need to time it accordingly to when I want to fall asleep. I sleep so well when I take this and lately my sleep has been restless without it. With zzzQuil, my sleep is smooth sailing! I've slept 10 hours straight through - uninterrupted and I woke up naturally feel rested. Usually though, the alarm wakes me up after 8 hours.

It's usually 1 to 2 hours before I actually feel sleepy, but since I started taking the liquid form, I have been sleeping 7 to 8 hours.

I took 2 25mg tablets as directed. Took over an hour to work. It started making me feel dizzy so I just closed my eyes knowing the medicine was probably working. I was up about 3 times that night and I had bad dreams all night. I've heard of melatonin doing this but I haven't heard zzzquil doing it. Happened 2 nights in a row. I don't think I will be taking this anymore.

I am a Mother of three and have trouble getting the rest I desperately need. My baby is one and I am so tired at the end of the day, but can't fall to sleep in a timely manner. That was until I tried zzzquil. To the reviewers, try this...take zzzquil two hours before you want to go to bed and you will see the results. I took zzzquil at 6 pm and laid down at 8 pm. My baby woke up for a bottle at 11, so I got up to feed her. I laid back down immediately. I didn't wake up again until 7 am. I felt great!Read More Read Less

Some people have posted bad results, if your wondering why its because some people the take OTC sleep aids have a more severe form of insomnia. These people will have restlessness and feel like they just drank coffee. Talk to your doc BEFORE you buy. You may be a candidate for another type of sleep aid. I didn't have this issue and slept like a baby for 7 hours.

This is simply Diphenhydramine(Benadryl)in a much more expensive form. Either buy generic Benadryl or if you actually want help with sleep issues, try Melatonin. Almost every OTC "sleeping pill" out there contains Diphenhydramine.

I am in my 40's and having the usual sleep issues that women have at my age. I generally wake up around 3 am and I am up for 2-3 hours then I go back to sleep for about an hour just to have to get up again for work. When I first took the zquil I slept through the night but felt really tired in the morning. So then I started taking 1/2 a cup instead of a full cup. After a few weeks I was waking up again in the middle of the night so went back to the full cup. Now I can take a full cup every night and sleep GREAT!!! Great product!Read More Read Less

Garbage, doesn't work at all. Packaging just about requires a knife to get into.

It took a long time to fall asleep, then restless all night and woke up several times. What kind of sleeping aid is that!?! What a waste!
