When I am effected by intense pain along Sciatic Nerve due to pressure of a bulging disc that has been irritated, I have used these to sleep on the most painful area, my ankle, and this is usually prior to time to having an epidural.

I'm not sure whether it has worked or not. I am 78 years old I left patches on my biceps for about 12 hours and experienced a rash and some purpures that enlarged over night.

The lidocaine patches have been very helpful reducing the pain I'm experiencing from a sprained knee. The shape and size are pretty perfect for using across the front of my knee and the side that is painful. I've used these before for various arthritis aches as well.

These little patches have saved me from scratching my skin off on my face. I had a worse case scenario of shingles in my eye and around my eye and forehead. The nerve pain never went away. I take Gabapentin 800 mg twice daily, but I still have pain. I use one small patch and cut a small strip off and put it on the bridge of my nose and on my forehead before bed. Sometimes I put one on right when I get home from work. I don't know what I would do without these. I can sleep without the distraction of the pain. Thank you, Salonpas.Read More Read Less
