I have been on this for about a year and now am experienceing intense lower back pain (radiating from tailbone), sore legs,fatigue, nausea and no appetite. This does not go away. Thought it was a flu bug. Anybody else?

This medication has caused high uric acid in my urine, it has also caused red pin dots on my skin, and has increased my blood sugar level. I have also suffered with ocular problems since taking this medication!

Have taken 100/25 for many years and BP is always elevated and Im suggering from many of the side effects,such as high cholesterol,high blood sugar,swollen gallbladder,ED,and others.

I have taken it for under one year and have just be diagnosed with pre-diabetes, I am wondering if the Hyzaar caused it since there is NO family history whatsoever of Diabetes.

I've been taking this medication for many years without any side effects. It has lowered my BP and I'm very satisfied with the results. Only problem is the cost and no generic equivalent.

seems to have lower blood pressure along with clonidine tab 0.1mg.but i quit my job so that could have helped also.

Have lower back and hip pain. MRI SHOWS MILD TO MODERATE STENOSIS.A article in the paper from a DR Peter Gott suggests that HYZAAR could very well be the cause.

When I first started this medication I received a low dose 50mg and as strange as it seems it would kick in 8hrs later, it was increased to 100mg,now its working. Side effects are fatigue, loss of appetite, decreased libido. After trying several different drugs this one has lowererd my pressure the side effects aren't that bad.

I take Hyzaar for kidney problems(mild-moderate).I have taken this medicine for about 8-10 years, besides running to the bathroom its been great. I went from going to have test every 3 months to every 6 months. My test come out great, like I dont even have kidney problems. Blood pressure is always normal. But if you stop, miss 1-2 days you will see and feel the difference... Before taken Hyzaar I was on 3 different pills for my kidneys. Hyzaar now takes the place of those pills....

It worked beautifully at lowering my BP, although it was a gradual process not a quick fix. A side note is that it seems to cause occasional ED.
