I have had chronic headaches for 50 years, as of Nov. '18. I have had multiple concussions from sports but one big one from a car accident and I went through the windshield and slammed my head on the telephone pole we hit. Headaches started shortly after that. My pain mgt. person prescribed the product "Sprix," which is nasal kertolac. If I can get to the Sprix before my headache gets to a pain level of 7 (out of 10) I can abort the headache and avoid the opioids. Sprix has been a true blessing for me as I have cut back on the opioids dramatically. Doc is thrilled and so am I. I missed a lot of events due to headache but I think Sprix will turn that around. I suggest it strongly, but be aware, early use is best use. One more note, it tastes like battery acid, or how I imagine battery acid tastes at least. So eat something immediately after nasal use. It travels down the back of your throat eventually, though most of the liquid "sticks" to your nasal canal that is a great place to administer drugs to start with. Read More Read Less

I would not wish this stuff on anyone. It is difficult to use, burns like crazy and does not work as well as the injectable. If you have used toradol then you know how it burns. Imagine that up your nose. No thank you. I would rather be in pain.
