I am 23 years old and have been on viibryd a little over a month. The problems started when I woke up one morning and could hardly move because my stomach pain was so bad. I couldnt even touch my stomach and it had me doubled over. I went to the E.R, unfortunatley, they diagnosed me with a U.T.I.(not even remotely close) Another really bad symptom is like an electronic jolt(or shock)to the brain i ... Show Full Comment

Switched to this drug after being on Celexa for some time. Was told..NO MAJOR SIDE EFFECTS..but should of read the fine print. Gained 7 pounds, major stomach issues that did not go away, and when I got to 40 dose I got weird dreams, and very moody. At times, mentally I felt great, but not worth side effects..Too strong for me. It should be on the warning label not to take if you have a sensitive ... Show Full Comment

Into 1st week of 2nd month started having major memory problems, seeing things that were not there, major paranoia, and the worse thing in the middle of the night I would have zaps in my brain. (like an electrical jolt) Bad dreams (not nightmares), naus ... Show Full Comment

I am 38 yrs. old, married w/ 4 kids. Have always suffered from depression since high school. Tried every anti-depressant out there, nothing has ever worked until about 6 days ago. I am on day 6 of taking Viibryd. My only side effect was stomach issues, which lasted only one day! I am excited to say that I have never felt this good in a very long long time. No sadness or crying at the drop of ... Show Full Comment

Took 3 doses after "not feeling right" on Cymbalta. Day 3 started hallucinations. They were very bad hallucinations. Husband took me to ER. They correctly identified a bad drug reaction. However, I had drawn the hallucinations to explain to my husband what I was seeing. I was involuntarily committed although the hallucinations had stopped. I lost my job. The over-reaction of the ER was n ... Show Full Comment
