I was on cymbalta for over 10 years and it just wasn't working anymore. Started on the Viibryd and in the first couple weeks I thought it was amazing. I felt normal, like a human better than in years but within the next few weeks all that was gone. We tried adjusting the doses but my depression was worse than ever. I'm going on a new med and hope it works better. I just wish there was ... Show Full Comment

I mostly had strong stomach issues on this med--diarrhea, nausea all day, could not eat normally. My doctor kept assuring me that that would all subside. I did have nightmares but the worst was when I began to feel like I was losing my mind...which has never happened to me, ever. This was at the 40 mg dose which I took once. I shook and cried and screamed at family all day, was ravenous but c ... Show Full Comment

At that point, as the side effects continued, doctor slowly withdrew me from the drug. I was at 40mg/day. Everything Viibryd is supposed to do, it didn't do for me. I had extreme fatigue during withdrawal. Viibryd sounds great and I hope it works for everyone else. it didn' ... Show Full Comment

I was previously on prozac and abilify and things were okay but I didn't feel like myself. I switched to Viibryd a month ago and feel wonderful. I am still on abilify but weaning of it per doctors orders. If your insurance covers Viibryd I suggest you try it.

Comment:
Do not take this drug. Take every single bad experience people have listed here, multiply it by 10 and that still would not come close to the horror I encountered the day of my second 40 mg dose. This needs to be pulled off the market immediately before someone hurts themselves or others.
