My son began taking this medication 4 months ago. The first 2 months was extremely hard. He had to titrate off of Cymbalta and then it took almost the full 2 months before seeing improvement. This medication has been a blessing. He is more alert at school and engages more with the family. Although improved, he still has low motivation but that could also be him being a teen. I have major chronic depression with severe SAD. Thanks to this med, this is the first winter that I have not cried at all. For me, this is a miracle drug. I have minor manageable side effects and a better life than I have had in years. It began to work almost immediately for me, and I don't need to take other anti-depressants as a supplement.

Stomach troubles at first, nothing major, just annoying. Gone after about a month. Has an insomnia effect on me, but a small dose(12.5mg) of trazodone has REALLY helped me with that. I am not laying in my bed crying for no reason ev ... Show Full Comment

I took this for only 2 days - day 3 I had a major panic attack. I am having palpitations, racing thoughts, horrible GI problems, I fainted, cold sweats, and an inability (and fear) of sleep. I haven't taken this in 5 days and only took 2 doses at the 10MG level and I am still having the palpitations. I had an EKG and bloodwork done; everything checked out fine as did my blood pressure. Medicin ... Show Full Comment
