Have been taking Pradaxa to treat A-Fib for three months now it seems to control heart rate with only very short and occasional periods of heart rate increase lasting usually less than 30 seconds. Over all it is much better than I expected,I am well satisfied with the results now am a waiting consultation for possible surgery to correct the A-Fib.

I experienced severe GI problems (heartburn, bloating, constipation, bleeding hemorrhoids and gas), neck and shoulder pain, fatigue and headaches. This is a nasty drug! I had an emergency medicine and a critical care physician both tell me that bleeding can't be stopped in an emergency.
