Severe weight gain and water retention with this. I have been taking for three months and have gained 6 pounds from it.

Effective for urinary incontinence. Hopwever, about 2 weeks after starting Toviaz began to experience fecal leakage but did not make the connection to Toviaz until I stopped taking Toviaz at week six and the fecal leakage ceased. It has been 3 months since I stopped taking Toviaz and have not had fecal leakage since.

It takes about 6 weeks to see true results

My new health insurer does not pay for this drug. Is there aa reasonable generic to use?

My greatest concern with this medication has been the constant eye twitching. I stopped taking it two weeks ago and the twitching has continued. The medication seemed to be effective in treating my OAB but now that I stopped taking it even these symtpoms have worsened.

My fiance took this medication and he has BPH. Within 16 hrs of one pill he had to go to hospital because he could not urinate at all for almost 12 hrs. In incredible pain from cramping and strong urge to go, but couldn't urinate. He takes Doxazosin for his enlarged prostate. He will not take again.

I've just been taking this medication for 4 days (samples from my doctor) but I don't know if am going to be able to continue. 4-6 hours after taking it I get such severe Dry Mouth I can hardly talk. Absolutely no saliva. Then I have to drink so much water I have to go to the bathroom more.

I HAVE A QUESTION. I AM A PARAPLEGIC AND HAVE BEEN IN A WHEELCHAIR FOR 8 YEARS. I HAVE HAD A SUPA PUBIC CATHETER IN PLACE INTO MY BLADDER. LATELY MY BLADDER SPASMS HAVE BEEN REALLY BAD AND I AM LEAKING ALL THE TIME. HAVE HAD CATHETER CHANGED, TAKEN VESICARE, OXYBUTIN AND BOTEX INJECTIONS INTO MY BLADDER. I WAKE UP IN A WET BED EVERY DAY AND AT 51 MIGHT HAVE TO WEAR A DIAPER. DOES ANY OTHER SPINAL CORD PATIENTS HAVE THIS PROBLEM AND DOES THIS WORK BETTER, THE SKIN PROBLEMS I AM HAVING DUE TO LEAKAGE IS KILLING ME. ANY HELP OR SUGGESTIONS. Read More Read Less

This is one of the best medicines on the market today. I have been on one other for the same condition that did not work at all. I have had no side effects other than thirst. I can deal with the thirst.

I have been taking this medication for about 3-4 months now. It does help with the Urgency, but however, I have been experiencing severe abdominal pain/spasms, dry mouth, dry eyes that also seem severely irritated, abdominal bloating, sleeplessness, dizziness, hotflashes, and bad headaches. I've had two incidents where the urge came on so strong that I wasn't able to make it to the restroom once the leaking started and I've actually wet mysels. So far, I see no reason for me to continue this medication with all of the side effects that I've been having. If it wasnt for those along with the sever sudden urges to urinate at the end of the day it would be worth it. Unfortunately at this time I am fed up with all the meds and this whole ordeal. Does not control the strong urges. I often leak before making it to the bathroom.

I was prescribed Toviaz one week ago for issues of my bladder not completely emptying. Within the first 2 days I had severe stomach cramping and then the blisters began to form. Now, only 1 week later, I have blisters on my tongue, lips, cheeks, gums, and throat. They are very painful. Some have popped leaving open sore wounds and others have remained white bubbles. I stopped the medication yesterday, but woke this morning with a couple more blisters in my mouth. Eating is extremely difficult. I wasn't on this medication long enough to judge the "pros", but can tell you that, for me, the "cons" are some of the worst I've ever experienced on any medication.Read More Read Less

This did work better then other options to slow the frequent urination but the side effects were bad for me. weight gain 20lbs in three months, depression, tired and constipation. the worse though was the mood change very on edge and depressed it was scary. working with doc. to change to something else.

Since I started taking 4mg of Toviaz each night before bed, I can sleep 6-8 hours straight without waking up to use the bathroom! It makes me drowsy, and my mouth is dry but nothing that interfere with my daily life and since I take it at night, the drowsiness doesn't affect me. I love it and am thankful to the makers of Toviaz for leaving samples t my Dr's office.

I've been using the 8mg but I stopped because I noticed a different odor. Then once I stopped taking the Toviaz the odor was. The problem is it works great for bladder leakage. It worked better for me than Versicare & Detrol so now I don't know what to do.

I TAKE THIS DRUG BECAUSE OF FREQUENT URINATING DURING THE NIGHT,BUT I HAVE TO PUSH ALOT TO URINATE AT NIGHT & SOMETIMES THE SAME DURING THE DAY. I HAVE ALSO BEEN CONSTIPATED AT TIMES. I WAS TAKING 4MG.I AM ON 8MG. NOW

I am on 4mg right now for last 2 weeks but will start 8 mg in a couple days; I noticed a remarkable difference by day 2 which is great; yes, dry mouth but nothing else significant; some sleepless episodes but nothing too drastic; on day 10 I was severely nauseated but that seems to have subsided; pretty vivid dreams in last few nights. Overall, am very satisfied with Toviaz, I feel I have my life back again! I changed the time I take the pill, I take it early evening (7 or 8 pm) and that seems to work better than early morning to curb night time leakage. I am using samples from my doc so haven't checked yet to see if my insurance company will make me pay a high price but I will find out soon!Read More Read Less
