I started taking Toviaz 4 mg just last night, and don't know whether it's the Toviaz or what, (we are having a blizzard here on Cape Cod, MA, as we speak) so cannot call my doctor. But from the waist down, I feel VERY SHAKY, and like I'm going to fall down, all the time. I have called my pharmacist, and he said Toviaz could have that side effect, but that I should call my doctor to find out for sure. He's not in today, because of the weather here. I also started using a new humidifier last night, but I've been using them for years, so don't think that will cause my shaky legs. Worked the first two times at 4 mg but now I urinating every two hours.

Started it and thought it was working at first, but then after the 3rd week the leakage started again? May have to up the dosage. Good thing is no side effects for me on this stuff.

This medication was extremely effective but it caused intolerable side effects: dry mouth, dry eyes (my contact lenses fell off for lack of tears), and constipation. After about a month I had a 36 hour episode of rapid heart beat (120 beats per minute) and agitation that disappeared over a period of 18 hours when I stopped taking Toviaz. For me, Toviaz was an extremely effective medicine with INTOLERABLE SIDE EFFECTS. My urologist agreed this medicine was the cause.

Been on this med. for 5 month's and had been have uti's, kidney infections, back pain and yeast inf. and raw red skin,down by my female part. If you get any of these symptoms. stop it asap. and call your dr.

Have been taking this for 6 months. No side effects but it isn't working either.

Worked very well in the beginning bur now after a few months it has quit working.

first 4mg tablet taken I experienced much saliva discharge, and needed t swalow continually. Is this normal?

Doesn't help as much as vesicare

Dizziness,Blurred vision,Double Vision.

I took Vesicare for about 7 years & it worked great until recently when it began to lose it's effectiveness. I've been taking Toviaz for 3 weeks & it doesn't seem to be working at all. I can't "hold it" when I have the slightest urge to urinate & I am again have stress incontinence (when laughing, coughing/sneezing, exercising, etc.) Also, I've been experiencing dry mouth & increased thirst since starting Toviaz.

Radical prostratimy with incontinence helps a little; however, side effects (dry mouth, eyes etc) not worth the side effects.

I experience severe itchiness and hives and slight cough

Such dry mouth I was hoarse. Dry sinus pain. General weird ill feeling. Ureter stent discomfort or urgency it did not help.

Having trouble urinating after total abdominal hysterectomy. Gave this to me for OAB. Why? Have spots all over my arms and shoulders now starting to burn. Headaches, abdominal pain, dry mouth, sleeplessness, blurred vision. There won't be a day 6. Stopping this drug.

I have tried all the OAB drugs, the latest was Detrol LA. In 12 years nothing, and I mean nothing has worked like Toviaz. Dry mouth? Use a dental mouth spray. I started off taking Toviaz 8mg in the morning. For the first 10 days I would have a strong urge to urinate, but only a dribble. But, slowly the medicine started to work. Before, I couldn't do anything without protection. Yesterday I realized that I went grocery shopping without protection! I only wake in the night once or twice to urinate. I had forgotten what it felt like to pee with a full bladder. This has been a life altering med for me. All to the good. Just keep taking it and let your body get used to it. This medication was a waste of my time taking it. It did nothing for me, althogh I did not realize it at the time I was taking it. I took it for approx. 2 years. I was still having problems but thought that was the best the Rx could to help me. That is until I stopped taking the Rx and realized I was still having the same problems I was having when I was taking the Rx.

does work it just takes about 2 weeks to do any good.

Day 5. No sleep 2 nights since starting. This morning I was very unsteady on my feet, dizzy and vomiting. My stomach is severely bloated. Today is the last day.
