after many trials and errors, I believe I've found a winner. With minimal side effects this medication has significantly helped my Tri's and overall cholestrol levels. This med alone Does Not cause muscle aches. I've given up on all statin meds and feel much better. Been on Trilipix for about a year with favorable results. I hope this review is helpful.Good Luck

Have been on it for over a month and have had no ill effects at all. Just had blood work done earlier this week and will see my Dr. in two days to see the results. My trig was so high in the first test that they couldn't even read my LDL. Have also increased exercise and am eating much better. Will let you know how it is working out.

I was part of drug study taking TriLipix along with Lipitor which produced wonderful results(lowering cholesterol level to 140). I have been waiting for TriLipix to come on the market. I am now back on both medications and feel great with no side effects

I have been taking this drug for about 6 months. My levels have went down from 275 to 185. I do have severe muscle aches, pain and fatigue. This pain and weakness is mainly in my legs. Since I stand all day at my job it gets pretty bad.

I can't wait to get off this stuff! I've been losing weight deliberately since January, but as soon as I started this medication, the weight loss stopped. My hair looks and feels like straw, and my fingernails are brittle and breaking.

I do not know of any effects on me, however, I also take Niaspan (which I hate because of the flushing and burning skin sensation) and maybe any effects I have from this Trilipix I am attributing to the Niaspan

I have been taking Trilipix for approximating 3 months. After the first 6 weeks I took a blood test showing my HDL increased 7 points. Triglycerides decreased 73 points and total Cholesterol decreased 17 points. The only side effect I have experienced is occassion lightheadedness which goes away quickly.

After being on this medication for 6 weeks my total cholesterol went down 90 points. Hasn't been this low in years. Only problem I have been experiencing is severe acid reflux. Has anyone else experienced this since my doctor told me that this is not a side effect.

I was unaware that I had any problem with cholesterol or triglycerides, but after a full blood panel was done on me that is what the Dr. found. I actually went to have the blood work done to see if my testosterone level was down because I was having severe mood swings, irritability and anger issues. I took the Trilipix for 6 weeks with no difficulties or side effects; another blood draw was taken and the Dr. said my high levels had come down. I will get another blood draw in 1 month to check my levels again. The positives about taking this medication is that my levels are coming down, but even better is that my mood swings, frustration and irritability have all subsided. My spouse and friends say that I am back to my old self again and it happened in just two weeks of being on the medication. I did a complete 180! I am not on any other medications.Read More Read Less

Prior to using the drug I had finger and toe numbness. This had started about 2 years ago. Been on it for 3 weeks no side effects that I can tell yet. After the first few doses my fingers and toe numbness has subsided. Don't know why, but thats good. Will not get a blood checkup for another 2 months so not sure how it works.
