I am 76 years old an using 5 mg/24 hours for nasal stuffiness. This product has been very helpful, but after taking it for a few days, I have had some morning dizziness and some pulse changes. Is arrhythmia a known side effect?

I have urinary incontinence which developed after a radical prostatectomy. When I take Aller-tec, I leak quite a bit more than usual. I am 81 years old. Otherwise, it seems to work well.

Helps with my seasonal allergies. I stopped taking the Aller-Tec and I can not stop itching to the point where I am forming scabs. The itching is from head to toe and when I scratch it just gets worse. It's been 3 days of hell. What can I do?

After suffering from my second sinus infection of the year, I was hoping to get on a regime with Aller-Tec to help prevent future allergy/sinus related issues. Unfortuantely, this drug makes me extremely sleepy, making basic day to day functions quite the chore. The dosage is 1 pill every 24 hours. I've taken the pill before bed the past 3 nights with the hope that I would be asleep during any "drowsy" periods of the medication, however I continued to feel the effects of the pill well into the next day. This did not work for me.Read More Read Less

This stuff is the devil's own invention. It works great when you're using it, but getting off of it is horrible. I went down to half a dose, 1/4 dose, then down to two half doses twice a week. I am still experiencing itching. STAY AWAY FROM THIS MED

I've been taking Target and Walmarts version of generci Zyrtec for years. No problems. I saw a good deal on the Costco version, Aller-Tec so tried it. I work with AM so dizzy I couldn't stand up, horrible nausea, then I started sweating profusely. It's worn off as the day progresses. Still feel woozy. Haven't been sick, doesn't feel like flu or anything, I'm healthy otherwise. I think I reacted to this drug. I take metformin for borderline type 2 diabetes, maybe it intereacted with a filler in this drug? Not taking it again!!Read More Read Less

After taking an Aler-Tec tablet, I slept for 16 hours in a 24 hour period. Previously I had also experienced extreme drowziness after taking a tablet.

Take aller-tec a few days, start sneezing and runny nose, use zyrtec, do great, back to aller-tec same thing over again. Have to wonder about strength of aller-tec.
