This topical gel works wonders (usually within 30 sec- to 2 mins) upon application. Relieves my knee pain immediately, until oral medication can be brought onboard. I won't be woth out it. I use up to 16G daily , 4 G q 4-6 hours. I loved it! I understand it's been out in Europe for over 15 years, only only 3 weeks in the US. What took us so long!!!

I was switched from Celebrex, which I was having no side effects from to Voltaren Gel which gave me chest pains and shortness of breath immediately! I went to a cardiologist and had to wear a Holter monitor for 24 hours and it showed it had effected my heart. I HAD NO HISTORY OF HEART PROBLEMS BEFORE TAKING THIS MEDICATION AND NON SINCE STOPPING IT.

Lower Back Pain from arthritic spine and disc degeneration. Could not take oral NSAIDs and this medication has been amazing. It pretty much keeps my lower back pain in check, even playing full rounds of golf!!

My wife used Votaren Top 1% on my back above waise (both sides) where I had been given 2 shots each side by an orthopaedic dr. The dr. put two Flector Patches on both sides where she had given shots. Is this safe. I am real sore today. Thought I'd feel some relief?

I am an RN who recently had arthoscopic knee surgery, which left my knee swollen and stiff. Have been using Voltaren noted a vast improvement with no side effects. The gel is easy to use and has helped me rest more comfortably at night. Swelling has also subsided.I do recommend this drug to those who can not tolerate NSAID oral meds.

I have had neck and shoulder pain and knots forever. Also developed what I call hot spots (painful spots) all over my body. My P.A. rubbed it on my neck, shoulders and various other spots. It was wonderful to get finally get some relief. Pain is not totally gone, but it is eighty percent better. Wish it could be used for sore spots on temples and head for migraines. My P.A. is also looking into fibromyalgia on me.

Very satisfied, better than taking a pill such as celebrex, I have significant arthritus in my lower back which is acting up due to a fall, I once broke my tail bone when I was 20 and also have a old work injury so there is really nothing I can do then to let it heal and let the inflammation subside on it's own. Seven weeks ago I had aa complet knee replacement on my left knee and I'm getting around real well with it as long as I don't overdue it in any store which most have cement floors. I knew I had arthritus in my right knee as well but not enough to get all excited about so this cream has really helped that a lot, I got relief after the first use of it. Thank God they have come out with something like this.Read More Read Less

Just got a sample from doc today for neck pain. Worked to relieve pain in about 5 minutes (4 grams total to cervical spine). So far I'm happy with it and it's better than having to ingest meds.

I have Fibromyalgia and now an onset of rehumoid arthritis in my hands and feet. The side effects scare me to death with this cream. I have been on narcotics for a few years . This cream doesn't seem to do anything for me. I don't feel a dif. Like I said , side effects scare me into NOT using it. A commet for stressed53----ask your Dr. about fibromyalgia. I went crazy to the point of suicide a few years ago cause I thought the ungodly pain was in my head and all the Dr. says it was .I had NO life, NONE, ZERO, and my b.f. of 12 years left me . Thus the suicide. Till I found my "angel" Dr. I am a new person now being treated for Fibro. It doesn't go away and no cure but you CAN control it. Ask your Dr. Then go to another one if he turns you down. Find one that believes in Fibro. And believes in YOU. Good luck. Read More Read Less

My knees have been waking me up every hour or two for years. I don't move when I sleep so they would start hurting very bad. I was given samples that worked right away. I use it on my knees about 3 times a day. I have very bad neropathy in my feet and have found that I can just rub what is left on my hands on my feet and that helps too !
