I started early premenopause at 39 and had serious symptoms such as heavy night sweats, hot flashes, insomnia and uncontrollable mood swings. I spent 2 years miserable, until my OBGYN prescribed Divigel. He started me on the 0.05 dose, which right away relieved most symptoms but I still had problems with hot flashes. I have been on 0.1 dose for the past 4 years now and I have no more symptoms. ...

This medication totally helped my hot flashes, went from 12 per day to none. Have noticed weight gain and acne seems to be worse.

Although it has helped my mood swings/night sweats, and i'm able to sleep all night again, the only one that worries me is the increase in urnnation/and now spotting of blood and a small blood clots when urnating, doctor is not alarmed but reduced my dosage/hope it works!.

Post menopausal. Been through the patch systems that all seem inconsistent and uneven in the transdermal route over the course of a few days. Tried the daily approach but eventually ran into the same problem. Also, BIG drawback is that it takes a very long time to dry -- like smearing jam on your skin and waiting for it to dry. In addition, blood levels were good to begin with and then eventually tapered off, despite no change it dose, and constant site rotation. More research needed here.

Change of life symptoms have improved slightly after 2 months but I have noticed my hair is falling out. I don't know if this med is the reason but it has thinned quite alot since I started on it. Will contact my Doctor.

I like the ease of using this gel, but I really have had a problem with acne since starting the medication and my emotional changes are worse now then before. There are times that I question whether I should stop using this or not.

I have only been using for 3 days and have noticed somewhat of relief. I am using the lowest mg at this time. My hot flashes do not seem so severe as had been. I also take estradiol 1mg daily. I think this may work along with exercise and nutrition.

I had an IUD inserted a few months ago and began taking this to help with acne that developed after not using birth control pills. I am unsure if this will help, but will keep this updated.
