I was taking the short acting adderall three times a day and it was working fine. I decided to try vyvanse to have the choice of only taking 1 pill instead of 3. I felt sedated and aggravated or annoyed, the entire day. It really does depend on the person because not all medicines work the same. What I have learned is finding a good psychiatrist that will work with you until you get all your s ... Show Full Comment

I just started on Vyvanse. I like that way it helps me stay focused at work. I was on Ritialin (sp) as a child and it was hard taking two pills a day. I am 30 years old and was just put back on ADHD meds. I havn't had to take meds for this for about 10 years. I don't like the way it makes me feel in the morning, but overall I think it is a great medicine.

My son have been taking this med. for 1 week and it is excellent compared to the Folican 20mg that he was taking that wore off by 1pm, so I have to say as a parent I am very happy with this new drug. Hope all goes well with everyone and don't let someone else story let your experience down, everyone body is different so know everybody is not going to have a good experience with this drug. ... Vyvanse is a new drug on the market the is very similair to Adderall XR. Like any ADHD medication, this drug does raise one's heart rate and will have an affect on one's stomach. Something that I do is open up the capsule and pour the contents into apple sauce. The mixture of the food and the medication makes it a lot easier on the stomach. The common misconception is that you need the cap ... Show Full Comment

The effects this treatment has on my schooling is unbelievable. It helps me to focus on what I'm working on without altering my mood or personality.
