I have only just received the treatment of Flebogammin in the last 24hrs I am returning today for my second 30g/600ml. It is an alternative to Vigam of which I have had since last June. Do please contact me to share any of your experiences related to Multifocal Motor Neuropathy and the related treatment.

I am forced to use this brand of IVIG due to the facilities preference. The improvement in my symptoms is short-lived, unlike the Gammagard products.

I first received this medication intrevanously, in the hospital. I received five seven-hour infusions, one each night for five nights. Then, because I relapsed only two weeks after my hospitalization, I received two treatments a month. That was changed to two treatments every two weeks, because I would relapse a week after the second infusion of the month. The cost is prohibitive. My copay is $800/ infusion, or $3200/ month! So far, I have had no luck in procuring copay assistance from the manufacturers or any assistance groups (I have tried thirteen of them). The medication works quickly, but the positive effects disappear quickly. I have had no side effects so far. Read More Read Less

A week on now noise increase in ears, shortness of breath, uncomfortable sides around kidney area [i guess] right hand/arm weaker than it would be had I had Vigam [my normal treatment] feeling of shakiness but not physically and generally feel awful. I hope this helps anyone that may be having similar symptoms. The problem I have is there is nobody directly available to talk to going to my GP is not going to solve anything soon. I was not consulted on the Flebo as a replacement for Vigam - which leaves me with mixed feelings. Ho Hum. Read More Read Less
