As my migraines have decreased which is fantastic, I experienced significant hair loss! Scary.... I guess this is something to watch for, but again we're taking this medication as a preventative to migraines which it does.

I have only been taking too and for a few weeks and I have been experiencing the tingling of the feet. I have been upping my dosage weekly and I just got to 100mg and I noticed fogginess after I took 50mg. I have been experiencing forgetfulness since starting this drug. My migraines has gone away drastically since starting topamax though. With the weigh loss side effect I have not lost any side ef ... Show Full Comment

This is my third week using Topamax and I am currently on 75 mg tier. I was having migraines everyday and I have only had two since taking Topamax. I was able to relieve them with OTC migraine meds which I have not been able to use in a very long time due to the severity. I have had a few of the side effects like the tingling in my feet but I will take that over migraines any day of the week! I do ... Show Full Comment

I have been on Topamax for about 10years I think now. Before taking Topamax I had about 1 headache-free day a week. I had passed out on the side of the road in my car because of them. It was getting very scary, and at the time I had 1 baby and 1 toddler. I started out at 25mg and worked my way up to 300mg/day. I found that if I take it at night I dont notice the side effects to be so severe as ta ... Show Full Comment

I just started this medication last night. 75 mg. I did have some tingling in my hand, some dizziness last night and still this morning, I couldn't finish my cereal this morning and soda tasted flat to me. I'm just wondering if at least the dizziness and the tingling will subside with time? I have 3 kids, so I can't afford to be dizzy all the time.
