i was given topamax for migraines caused by psudotumor cerebri (imbalance of spinal and brain fluid). from the first day the optho-neuro prescribed i suffored tremors, hair loss, memory problems, seizores, sleeplessness, dizziness etc... i was finally diagnosed with a spinal tumor (after 3 years) and stroke(after 5 years) and have taken nortriptiline and maxalt ever since to help control my migrai ... I have been using it for migraines. I lost weight with it, and I am a thin person to begin with. I also have been more tired on it, extremely in the last couple months which I am going to get tested to see if its from the Topomax.

This medication has been a blessing for the reduction of migraines. The only downfall I have with it is the weight loss, however, most patients I'm sure wouldn't mind that added benefit.

Since being introduced to this drug two years ago, my incidences and severity of Migraines have lessened quite a bit.
