I am a 61 year old female, my doctor put me on this medication back in August as a blood test revealed I had an underactive Thyroid, my hair starting falling out within days of taking this medicine. I stopped taking the drug at the end of 3 weeks & threw away the remaining 7 pills. Upon a blood test before going back to my doctor the test showed my thyroid was back to normal. That was well o ... I have been taking Levothyroxine for a number of years with no observable change in condition. I do experience cold hands & cold feet many times.

I am 34 years old and I have three children. I was diagnosed with an underactive thyriod just over a year ago and started on 50mcg. I am 5'8 and 135 lbs. I don't really feel any difference since taking this medication except feeling occasioally worse than I did before the medication. If it helped at all I'm not as cold as I used to be. I have been on the generic form of Synthroid for about 2 years. I recently had my blood checked and my T3 & T4 levels are normal. My TSH level was 0.30 and that severly concerned me. I went to my doctor and she ordered further blood test.
