I very rarely take any medication, but recently developed bronchitis and sinus infection which was accompanied by constant fits of uncontrollable coughing and sneezing. Was prescribed an antibiotic to knock out the infections and guaifenesin to loosen the congestion. Spent good money at the clinic and was prescribed this med for my bronchial cough. If anything I'm coughing more! I feel over the counter was more effective. I wish I had been given an antibiotic or more options.

Comment:
The persistent cough never went fully away, but it did diminish the coughing frequency and intensity enough for me to get some sleep. I believed this finally allowed me to slowly start healing.

Comment:
rx 2x100mg three times a day. I have been taking only 1 pill at a time and found it somewhat effective. two seems more effective but a little drowsy. Sleeping better than ever though.
