I have mild depression and anxiety. I was prescribed 100mg to start and now I am on 300mg doses but it is now controlling my symptoms and I can manage though the day.

My depression was severe. I didn't want to leave the house and did not even want the phone to ring because that meant I had to talk with someone. I feel completely normal again while taking this medicine. Have your vitamin D checked. Mine was very low and this also contributes to depression. Had to decrease from 300 mg to 150mg because of brain fog Manages my depression well.

I am the worlds worst when it comes to taking new medicine. It took me almost 2 weeks to get up the nerve to actually swallow this pill because I was so scared of the side effects. I am so glad that I did..It has helped me tremendously. The first couple of days were alittle rough adjusting to the side effects. Long time depression. Tried Paxil briefly when I was younger and had intense side effects- sleep, teeth grinding, sex drive, felt more miserable. Few years later tried the generic of Wellbutrin XL. Started the first month at 150mg and didn't notice too much, then up to 300mg and felt a near immediate substantial improvement.
