I started taking this drug on a Thursday for an infection in the gum around my crown. The tooth didn't hurt and was not bothering me but I had swelling in the gum. I felt fine until I starting taking this drug. My stomach hurt for hours after taking it and I felt almost like I had the flu. I took this for 2 1/2 days and started breaking out with a rash on my stomach, chest and arms. Called my ... Show Full Comment

I was prescribed this med for severe strep throat b/c I am allergic to penicillin. I am only on the second day of treatment (300 mg, 2 capsules, twice daily). I've also experienced a lot of pain in my joints, especially my hips and my neck, as well as having very bad tension headaches. My ... Show Full Comment

They are swollen, red and when you break the whitehead they hurt. I am a week into this side effect with no abating. I even had a few come up on my face. I am allergic to penicillin and am wondering if t ... Show Full Comment

Prescribed by my dentist after tooth extraction. I am now on the third day of taking this medication and I have a horrific case of diarrhea/stomach cramps. No warning put on the bottle of pills by the pharmacy, but I was warned by my dentist beforehand to stop if I got diarrhea, so I am calling him and stopping this medication immediately.
