was given medication after having wisdom teeth pulled to prevent infection. Went to emergency room because I couldnt breathe , and diarreah has been and is horrific. I was not made aware of any side effects by dentist or pharmacist. This has really been a horrible experience and I would have never known it was this medication if it weren't for this website and others who posted. Thanks.. Sound ... Show Full Comment

I took this med for an infection prior to a temp crown on my tooth (again like other with allergies to other simple meds) then the next week on a different tooth I had to get a route canal, from there they doubled the dose and I became sicker by Friday (2 weeks on this med) I broke out in hives over 90% of my body was cramping bloated going to the bathroom throwing you name it mentally losing it t ... I have taken this medication several times for a throat infection. I have had a couple of throat infections over the past few years that have caused my tonsils to become sore, swell and develop white patches. The prescription cleared the infection each time with no adverse side effects. My ear nose and throat specialist first prescribed it to me and has given me the same medication each time.

severe allergic reaction incl breathing passages closing, and over all body erruption of hives.

my wife took this medicine prior to a root canal to ease an infection she continued after the root canal for 7days about 10 days later she started having diarrhea we thought it was the flu 3 days later the ambulance took her to the hospital with uncontrolable bowels dehydration,delusional.
