Almost threw these away after I read the reviews for this med, but I could not take penicillin because of allergic reaction to treat my dental infection so I tried the Clindamycin. Im glad I did because it worked great with no side affects. Infection is gone within a week so it must be one of those meds that work for some and not for others. So you dont know until you try it.

I was given this medicine after I had a abscess tooth removed, the dentist will hear from me tomorrow! I have had irregular to minimal bowel movements for the past two weeks as well as abdominal swelling and gut wrenching pain. I don't know why this medicine is on the market but it's the worst thing that has ever happened to me.

Was prescribed this drug (I'm allergic to penicillin) after dental work as a precaution. On the second day, I started with severe heartburn and unbearable stomach pain. On the third day, I called the dentist and he instructed me to stop taking it. I have been off the meds for about 36 hours and still can't get passed the stomach pain. My stomach and back hurts to sit, lay down or stand ... Show Full Comment
