I had a boil in my groin area. The smell of the medication was horrible it even left a bad after taste in my mouth. No side effects yet besides the horrible smell. Boil opened after use of medication and seems to be improving.

My daughter of one year was perscribed this because the doctor had to remove her nail. THe first couple of days it was fine, but now she has diareah and she has a rash all over her body. My husband and I are allergic to penicillin and they still put her on this drug.

I had cut my arm on barbwire and was treated with cephalexin. It seemed to do great. I didn't like the smell they have in the bottle. It smelled like rotten eggs is this normal?
