Taking for hypertension x 6 mos. now. Lowers pulse as well. But less effective now than in beginning. I am female, 63 and a patient. Having trouble setting up a login.

Falling asleep and breathlessness one and half hours after taking med,constant dry mouth,Raynaud's worsened,vivid nightmares, muscle pain and weakness,oedema of legs and body,apparent congestive heart failure,yet my heart is perfectly healthy,nerves shot--I cry at nothing,--I can't wait to get off this drug,but have been allergic to many others.I hate the way this makes me feel.My health a ... Extreme drowsiness about 2 hours after dose.

I have been on this medication for 10 yrs. It does not work. My bp has yet to come down after all these years.

Comment:
This drug worked for 15 years before I needed to add a water pill (Bumex). It still will lower the systolic about 50 degrees and the diastolic about 30. After 27 years I am needing an additional med. But all in all...this drug has no side effects and WORKS.
