I was given this generic form of Prevacid 30mg, does not work. Previously was on generic Mylan 8030, not a problem for years!!! Within a couple of days taking this Sandoz Pharm. pill, I'm miserable with reflux, nausea, burning in chest and stomach, gas, burping. I'am contacting my mail order pharmacy (Caremark) tomorrow to discuss getting something else that has worked. Very disappointed and not happy with this Sandoz Pharm., generic version of 30 Prevacid Delayed Release.

this treatment works for me

This med has worked as well as the Prevacid that my insurance company no longer covers. I received a special allowance for coverage by participating in a study. I do not have any of the listed side effects. I am concerned about my long term usage. I have been on a proton pump inhibitor now for 6 years. Nexium almost killed me. I will be checking my bone density soon. Magnesium levels have been fine, but I do take a multivite regularly. Never changed my diet, occasional drink, no break-through. I am on 30 mg daily, take it in the morning with my coffee. My esophagus healed with little to no scarring. Dr just changed me from dexilant to this, not too happy with the results

Has worked for me.

It affected my bowels , they literally turned to water,

I cannot eat after lunch time without being sick,no matter how little or large the meal.Being treated with this in case my cough is caused by acid. So, every time i cough now I feel like i am going to be sick. I feel worse than before when all I had was a cough! I have lost more weight because of this drug than a calorie counting diet over 4 months!

I still get heartburn but not as bad but the prevacid was the best!!!! Causing constipation and isn't the best for heartburn. Which I could go back to the REAL heartburn medicine!!

Been on this drug for approximately 8 weeks - what a relief. No more heartburn or reflux. I do seem to have a little diarhea,but worth it for the relief I've gotten.

I never used Prevacid, however this drug has relieved my swallowing problems. I was prescribed this drug from the beginning so I cannot compare it to Prevacid.

Does not work for me as well as Prevacid.

I used to take the brand name prevacid and now have to take the generic brand. It does not work. I'm in constant pain. I would not recommmend this medicine for any type of reflux problems.

Long term use gave me itchy poop. This also causes the area around my anus to be itchy and raw.

The first symptom I had was some bleeding, which landed me in the ER and hospital. An Endoscopy, Colonoscopy and camera showed nothing except Gastritis and Acid Reflux. I was prescribed Prevacid but couldn't take that because of inactive ingredients. Took Lansoprazole for two miserable weeks. Had to stop. It caused EXCTREME weakness. Have new prescription for Omeprazole - stay tuned.

stomach is less bloated not had any pain as such since using this drug. It was prescribed by a specialist after a colonoscopy. I have been on it now for six months.

THIS IS THE WORST MEDICINE FOR ACID REFLUX THAT MONEY CAN BUY!!.....A TOTAL WASTE OF ENERGY TO EVEN SWALLOW THIS CAPSULE....IT FLAT OUT SUCKS AND DOES NOT WORK ONE IOTA BIT

23 Years of daily pain came to an end when this was subscribed to me.Yes I also have a spastic colon and this makes me more regular than ever!! Thanks to this drug I can live a fairly normal life.

This drug has been working for me the past few months ,but sincethe frist of June I have came down with sever stomach pains every morning after takeingthe pill and the past few days here I have had a change in my appetite and numbness in both of my hands and constipation and wakeing up with headachs,The drug has been working for me,but I am not going to take something that put meinthat much pain every day.so if you on this drug I would stop takeing it at once.

I am 5 mos pregnant with really bad heartburn.. I've only taken one pill and I feel super nauseous!! and the heartburn is still there. I'd rather deal with one problem instead of two!!!
