I've been taking this med for about a month. It has enabled me to fall asleep and to get a good 8 hours of sleep. One side effect (I think of this med)is that on 2 occasions I have had "anal seepage" while asleep. Has anyone else had this problem? Thinking it might be that the med is causing me to be "too relaxed" while asleep. My doctor prescribed 50mg but sometimes I only ... Show Full Comment

Even taking 50 mg nightly and have experienced dizziness, loss of coordination, blurry vision, and worst..waking up at night with acid reflux and coughing. This even with taking prescription med for the reflux. Now I just read I'm not supposed to be taking it with the Prozac I've been on for many years! So...I'm going to discontinue. I've been taking Trazodone for about a week.

My physician is treating my fibromyalgia with one dose at bedtime of acetaminophen and tablets. I never take either at any other time and it has been most helpful for me now for more than 20 years. I am a Kaiser patient all this time.

I have always had trouble falling asleep. You see, I have sleep apnea, which precludes me from getting a good night's sleep without a little "help".
