My father had an allergic reaction to one of the inactive ingredients in this drug. It caused anaphylaxis. It killed him in less than an hour. DO NOT TAKE THIS IF YOU HAVE ALLERGIES TO OTHER MEDICATIONS. Take your first dose at the doctors office.

Brought my phosphorus level down from 11 to 5.6 in about two weeks. Didn't have to change my diet.Lower phosphorus levels equal less itching. Thankful for that! No problems other than remembering to take it every time I eat.

Instructed to take 3 or more with each meal by doctor. Severe itching nightly and severe cramping in both hands about 30 minutes after eating. Heaviest dose taken at dinner.

I started taking this medication along with Coreg for high blood pressure. About 1 hour after taking I would get very short of breath and my whole insides would start shaking. It also brought my blood sugars down pretty low. The shakiness was not hypoglocemia. I have stopped taking this medication, and the shortness of breath and the shakiness has stopped. Would not recommend to anyone.
