Comment:
Totally stopped migraines I suffered with for over 40 years. 80 mg extended release once per day with no detectable adverse side effects. I already had low blood pressure 113/67 and it didn't change. If I even get a headache I can take some tylenol or aspirin and know it will not turn into a migraine. Peace of mind changed everything and took this monkey off my back.

Comment:
Does not reduce frequency, or intensity, of migraines. Does not lower blood pressure. Migraine frequency, and blood pressure, are both increased. Extreme fatigue and lethargy. I can not get things done, that are imperative to accomplish. Extreme itchiness for first several months. Joint aches. Blurry vision. Propranolol does not work for me, and the side effects are intolerable.

Comment:
Unacceptable side effects included extreme fatigue and confusion on only 20 mg/day. I could not drive safely. I spent all my time looking for lost items such as agenda, keys, phone, mind, sense of self. Also joint pain, depression. I prefer to treat migraines as they occur with triptan drugs rather than have these side effects 24/7.

I'm reviewing to test this system. I see that manufacturer PR agents can post positive reviews so I take good reviews w/ a grain o' salt. People have no incentive to post bad reviews. I appreciate the reviews. DO NOT STOP TAKING IT COLD TURKEY. IF YOU GO OFF IT, WEAN YOURSELF OFF GRADUALLY. I've only been on it 3 days, starting w/ 20 mg/day. Makes me sleepy with frightening short ... Show Full Comment
