Nursing:

No Known Risk: LOW LEVELS EXCRETED WITH LOW RISK FOR ADVERSE EFFECTS IN INFANT

Absolute Contraindication: ONE REPORT OF METABOL ACIDOSIS W/ASA;RISK OF REYE'S SYN W/VIRAL ILLNESS/FEVER

An adult over 60:

Precaution: MORE SUSCEPTIBLE TO TOXIC EFFECTS; MAY NEED TO REDUCE DOSE

Precaution: (SOM)STRICT ADHERENCE TO MAXIMUM DAILY DOSE (3000MG) ADVISED.

Giving acetaminophen-salicylate-ethavarine to a child under 12:

Warning: USE WEIGHT BASED DOSING IN CHILDREN LESS THAN 12 YRS.

Relative Contraindication: DO NOT USE IN VIRAL ILLNESS; POSSIBLE INCREASED RISK OF REYE SYNDROME.
